🇵🇹 Vimioso volta a ser palco do King of Portugal!

A exigente prova de todo-o-terreno realiza-se entre 7 e 10 de outubro!

Pela 13ª vez consecutiva, o Município de Vimioso volta a ser palco do King of Portugal, uma das provas mais exigentes do todo-o-terreno extremo mundial, organizada pelo Clube Norte X4.

A azáfama começa no início da semana, com a chegada de mais de 70 equipas, de dez nacionalidades diferentes.

As potentes máquinas vão ficar instaladas no Estádio Municipal de Vimioso. A prova terá o prólogo no dia 8 de outubro e as etapas em pista nos dois dias seguintes, passando pelas tradicionais zonas do percurso: Pedreira, Tartaruga, JT Rocks e Ovos de Dinossauro.

José Rui Santos, apaixonado desde sempre pelo mundo dos motores e com experiência como piloto em provas nacionais e internacionais, é o grande dinamizador do projeto.

O conhecimento da competição internacional esteve na génese do projeto que, em 2013, trouxe para Portugal o conceito Ultra4. O encontro com Dave Cole, mentor do King of the Hammers (USA), seria decisivo. Vimioso foi escolhido pelas condições naturais perfeitas para o desafio.

Nascia assim o King of Portugal!

Ao longo da sua história, a prova tornou-se uma referência internacional, recebendo equipas de 17 nacionalidades, milhares de espectadores e os melhores pilotos europeus e internacionais.

Reconhecido pela sua dureza, exigência e componente estratégica, o King of Portugal coloca à prova pilotos e máquinas. Zonas de elevada velocidade alternam com setores extremamente técnicos e obstáculos de pedra, onde um erro pode comprometer toda a corrida.

Chegar ao fim é, por si só, uma conquista que poucos conseguem alcançar!

De 7 a 10 de outubro, o King of Portugal regressa a Vimioso, dando continuidade a uma história que nasceu da paixão pelo todo-o-terreno e que hoje coloca Vimioso no mapa europeu da modalidade!

🇬🇧 Vimioso once again hosts the King of Portugal!

The demanding off-road race takes place from 7 to 10 October!

For the 13th consecutive year, the Municipality of Vimioso will once again host the King of Portugal, one of the most demanding extreme off-road races in the world, organised by Clube Norte X4.

The excitement begins early in the week, with the arrival of more than 70 teams from ten different nationalities.

The powerful machines will be based at the Vimioso Municipal Stadium. The race begins with the Prologue on 8 October, followed by the main stages over the next two days, taking competitors through the traditional sections of the course: Pedreira, Tartaruga, JT Rocks and Ovos de Dinossauro.

José Rui Santos, a lifelong motorsport enthusiast with experience as a driver in national and international competitions, is the driving force behind the project.

His knowledge of international competition was at the heart of the project that brought the Ultra4 concept to Portugal in 2013. A meeting with Dave Cole, the man behind the King of the Hammers (USA), would prove decisive. Vimioso was chosen for its natural terrain, offering the perfect conditions for the challenge.

And so, the King of Portugal was born!

Throughout its history, the race has become an international reference, welcoming teams from 17 nationalities, thousands of spectators and the best European and international drivers.

Known for its toughness, demanding nature and strategic element, the King of Portugal pushes both drivers and machines to their limits. High-speed sections alternate with extremely technical terrain and rock obstacles, where a single mistake can compromise the entire race.

Simply reaching the finish is an achievement in itself — one that only a few manage to accomplish!

From 7 to 10 October, the King of Portugal returns to Vimioso, continuing a story born from a passion for off-roading and one that today places Vimioso on the European off-road map!

Piszemy do Was w trudnym momencie. Jak już wiecie, wczoraj doszło do tragicznego wypadku. To wydarzenie zmienia wszystko, a nasze myśli są dziś przede wszystkim przy osobach, których to dotknęło.

W poniedziałek o godz 13:00 w Mogilnie, odbędzie się uroczystość pożegnania naszego Przyjaciela Huberta.

W tej sytuacji nie możemy rozpocząć Prince of Poland w zaplanowanym terminie 24-26.08. Ta decyzja nie była łatwa, ale w takiej chwili jest jedyną właściwą.

Jednocześnie robimy wszystko co w naszej mocy, aby King of Poland mógł się odbyć. Wszystkie trasy są gotowe - czekamy teraz na decyzję właścicieli terenu, którą musimy i chcemy uszanować.

Jeśli będzie ona pozytywna, zawodników Prince of Poland połączymy z zawodnikami King Of Poland. Podzielimy Was wówczas na dwie klasy: pro i super pro. Pojedziecie razem z klasą Trophy w dniach 27-29.08 tak, abyście mimo wszystko mieli szansę wystartować.

O tym czy imprezy się odbędą poinformujemy Was najpóźniej do niedzieli.
Dla wszystkich zawodników i kibiców którzy planowali być z nami od początku.
Nie planujcie przyjazdu wcześniej niż w środę.

🇬🇧 IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Prince of Poland & King of Poland

We are writing to you at a very difficult time. As you already know, a tragic accident occurred yesterday. This event changes everything, and today our thoughts are first and foremost with everyone affected by this tragedy.

On Monday at 1:00 PM in Mogilno, the farewell ceremony for our friend Hubert will take place.

In these circumstances, we cannot begin Prince of Poland on the originally planned dates of 24–26 August. This was not an easy decision, but at a time like this, we believe it is the only right one.

At the same time, we are doing everything in our power to make sure that King of Poland can still take place. All the courses are ready — we are now waiting for the decision of the landowners, which we must and want to respect.

If their decision is positive, the Prince of Poland competitors will be combined with the King of Poland competitors. You will then be divided into two classes: PRO and SUPER PRO. You will race together with the Trophy class on 27–29 August, so that despite everything, you will still have the opportunity to compete.

We will inform you no later than Sunday whether the events will take place.
For all competitors and spectators who had planned to be with us from the very beginning.
Please do not plan to arrive earlier than Wednesday.

Fantastic news from King oif Britain 26 - the 4th Race in our 2026 European Championship. Following on from King Of France in Jun 26, King of Britain ran at the Parkwood Offroad Centre in Yorshire - hard racing at a new site with rocks, hils, water and fast dusty tracks.

Congratulations to Team Gigglepin and Jim Marsden for the Overall event win and King of Britain 2026!!
