Team München gegen Homophobie, Rassismus und Diskriminierung im Handball und der Welt des Sports! Team München, der LGBT Verein der bayerischen Hauptstadt, sucht momentan Mitspieler/Innen. Sowohl Einsteiger als auch erfahrene Mitspieler sind herzlich Willkommen! Denn uns ist es vor allem wichtig, dass man Spaß am Spielen hat. Wieso gründet man eine solche
Mannschaft? Wie in anderen Ländern, gibt es gay und gayfriendly Mannschaften. Solche Mannschaften dienen nicht nur zur Ausübung des Sports, sondern stehen auch für eine Stärkung der LGBT Community und auch als Anlaufstelle für junge LGBTs, die Angst oder Scheu haben sich offen bei Mannschaftssportarten als „anders“ zu outen. Natürlich ist es auch eine schöne Gelegenheit, außerhalb der „Szene“ Leute kennen zu lernen. An wen richtet sich unsere Mannschaft? Eigentlich sehr kurz erklärt. Die Spaß am Sport haben und vor allem an all die Leute, denen es egal ist, wer welche Ausrichtung hat und wer am Spielfeldrand als Partner oder als Freund/in die Mannschaft anfeuert! Ob LGBTs oder Freunde von LGBTs, fühlt euch jederzeit bei uns Willkommen.

Team München stands against homophobia, racism and discrimination in handball and in all sports in general! Our Team München - a q***r and straight handball team, is looking for more players! You don't have to know handball already as long as you want to learn! Why do we have a 'LGBTQ' team? LGBTQ teams already exist in Germany and in other countries, they're growing all around the world. This isn't just sport practice, by joining an LGBT sports team you are supporting the LGBT community, providing a safe space for people to practice, exercise, learn and develop. You are also standing up against homophobia, which is always good. It also provides a great place for LGBT persons to socialise outside of the 'typical' gay scene, with which some LGBT persons, particularly early on in life, struggle to identify with. That having said - we are completely inclusive, welcoming and actively encouraging non-LGBT persons to come play with us too. The one thing we will NEVER do, is discriminate against people because of who they sleep with, their language, ethnic or national origin etc etc. - We aim to provide a place for respect, and you'll soon learn that our team is a big group of friends.
