🏆 FROM GÖTTINGEN TO THE WORLD STAGE – A DREAM COME TRUE! 🇨🇦

Our team proudly represented our school at the 2026 Taekwon-Do World Championships in Lethbridge, Canada, competing alongside the very best athletes from around the world.

Behind every medal are countless hours of training, unwavering discipline, sacrifice, and an incredible community that supported us every step of the way.

🥇 Our Results

🏆 5 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals

With these results, we have now reached 42 World Championship podium finishes in less than five years since our school was founded.

Our journey continues:

🥋 2023 – Coventry, England: 8 competitors, 10 medals
🥋 2025 – Glasgow, Scotland: 16 competitors, 24 medals
🥋 2026 – Lethbridge, Canada: 3 competitors, 8 medals

Every one of our athletes gave 100%, representing our school with outstanding technical ability, sportsmanship, and determination.

Vova

Vova achieved another incredible milestone by winning his fifth World Championship title at his final junior World Championship.

World titles:
• Patterns (2023)
• Continuous Sparring (2025)
• Individual Sparring (2026)
• Team Sparring (2026)
• Team Patterns (2026)

Tori

Tori became World Champion in Team Patterns and World Runner-up in Individual Patterns.

She also competed in one of the toughest sparring divisions and proved that, after only two years of competitive training, she belongs among the world's best.

Training six days a week, she overcame every challenge through hard work and determination.

Sebastian

Sebastian once again reached several World Championship semifinals and fulfilled a lifelong dream by winning a World Championship title together with his students.

After finishing fourth in Patterns at two consecutive World Championships, he finally earned place on the podium.

A good grading in Göttingen today...good standard from the students. Then a training session for the Phoenix Taekwon-do Germany Instructors, as part of their preparation for the Taekwon-do World Cup in Canada.

Phoenix Invitational 2025
Am 15.11.25 hatten wir unsere aller erste Meisterschaft mit Gästen in Göttingen.
Die Veranstaltung war ein absoluter Erfolg und hat allen Teilnehmenden viel Spaß gemacht.
Wir hatten Formen, Pointfighting und Leichtkontakt. Außerdem hatten wir noch Teamkampf und Teamformenlauf zwischen den Schulen/Vereinen.
Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei der KSA Rhoden und beim MTV Boffzen-Fürstenberg für ihr Vertrauen, Hilfe und auch Freundschaft.
So konnten wir faire Kategorien bilden mit dem Ziel Erfahrung zu sammeln und gemeinsam zu wachsen.
Das ganze wäre ohne der tollen Unterstützung der Mithelfer*Innen unmöglich gewesen, wir danken euch mit vollem Herz. Auch das Publikum war super und hat alle gleichmäßig angefeuert. Bei einer freundschaftlichen Meisterschaft sind wir alle zuhause!
Eine besonders beeindruckende Leistung im Wettkampf hatte Mylaine Waldeier, die bis zu 4 Pokale mit nachhause nehmen durfte.

Danke an Francois Dury, Carsten Ständecke, Günter Potthast und Natalie Wiesner für die Organisation eurer Teams und die Teilnahme an der ersten (von hoffentlich vielen) Phoenix Invitational.

Phoenix Invitational 2025

On November 15th, 2025, we held our very first championship with guests in Göttingen.
The event was an absolute success and brought a lot of joy to all participants.

We had patterns, pointfighting, and light-contact. In addition, we held team sparring and team patterns between the schools/clubs.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to KSA Rhoden and MTV Boffzen-Fürstenberg for their trust, help, and friendship.
This allowed us to create fair categories with the goal of gaining experience and growing together.

None of this would have been possible without the wonderful support of all our helpers — we thank you with all our hearts.
The audience was fantastic as well and cheered for everyone equally. At a friendly championship, we are all at home!

A particularly impressive performance in the competition was delivered by Mylaine Waldeier, who was able to take home up to four trophies.

Phoenix Taekwondo Germany ist am 29.09.25 4 Jahre alt geworden! Und wir haben es groß gefeiert. Viele waren an dem Tag in der Halle wo wir Spiele gespielt haben, leckeres gegessen haben und eine tolle gemeinsame Zeit verbracht haben.
Außerdem waren wir am 27.09 noch in Bad Arolsen auf der Deutschen Meisterschaft der ITO wo wir alle wichtige Erfahrungen gesammelt haben und noch viele Pokale und Medaillien.
Vielen Dank an ALLE die Teil von uns und unseren Weg waren, sind und weiterhin sein werden.

Phoenix Taekwondo Germany just turned 4 years old! On the 29th of September we celebrated BIG. With music, food and fun games.
We also gained valuable experience and a bunch of medals and trophies on the 27th at the german Championships.
Thank you to EVERYONE who has ever been, is and will continue to be part of our history.
