Friedrichshafens erstes Lacrosse Team! Die neue Trendsportart Lacrosse erobert Friedrichshafen. Wir sind ein junges und engagiertes Lacrosse Team, das im Frühjahr 2011 gegründet wurde. Seit September 2011 gibt es auch ein topmotiviertes Damenteam! Mittlerweile trainieren Studenten, Häfler, Schüler und Berufstätige regelmäßig auf dem Gelände des VfB Friedrichshafen. Wenn ihr Lust habt, mit uns zu t

rainieren und die beste und schnellste Sportart der Welt auf zwei Beinen kennenzulernen, schaut zu unseren Trainingszeiten bei uns vorbei! Equippment stellen vorerst wir! Wir trainieren auf dem Kunstrasenplatz des VfB Friedrichshafen

- Donnerstags von 20.00 bis 22 Uhr (Halle direkt neben dem Platz)

It is with great pride that we can announce our long-time Goalie Rico has been selected to be part of the German Men’s National Team competing at the 2020 European Lacrosse Championships in Poland! We couldn’t be more proud and are excited to cheer on our boys in Wroclaw!

The ZLF & Friends Team has won the 2019 Bodensee Cup last weekend in Konstanz! Thank you Konstanz Lacrosse for organizing the tournament!

On Sunday, our boys along with our friends from Konstanz Lacrosse welcomed TSG Tübingen Lacrosse to Lake Constance for a match which ended up being one of the longest in German Lacrosse history! At the end of regulation, the scoreboard showed a 2:2 draw and it took a total of 2 overtimes and 12 sudden death periods for us to secure a well deserved and hard fought victory! Our next opponent will be RheinNeckar in two weeks time

The new season also brings a new alliance with it! Together with the players from Konstanz Lacrosse we will compete in the Second Southern German League and last weekend already saw a huge success for our team as we were able to defeat the joint team of Pumas PTSV Jahn Freiburg Lacrosse and Karlsruhe Storm Lacrosse by a score of 5:2! We are excited to see what the rest of the season holds for us and hope to leave a mark on our division!

Today wraps up the final day of our ZLF players supporting the German Men's National Team Lacrosse who achieved an amazing 9th place out of 46 teams overall here in Israel at the World Lacrosse Championship! We had the pleasure and honor to meet with many great role models of our sport such as Rob Pannell, Miles and Jeremy Thompson as well as Coach Marr and had a very educational and amazing time here in Israel. We hope our Away Support fulfilled our duty for our National Team and we are excited to travel to Wroclaw, Poland for the European Championship in 2020! Sticks up and KDL!!

Some of our players along with plenty of our Zeppelin Universität and ZLF alumni are currently in Israel, supporting the German Men's National Team Lacrosse as well as traveling around the country. Among the places visited so far are the garden of the Bahá’í in Haifa, Yad Vashem in Jerusalem and the city of Nazareth!

Our Defenseman Marius is currently working as a volunteer in a small village in rural Uganda where he discovered that Lacrosse is still spreading across the world! Grow the game wherever you can!

Here's the final ranking to close out our season: Together with our friends from Ulm Lacrosse we will finish in 4th place overall! Big thanks to all our players and supporters for another great season! Sticks Up and Kraft der Liebe!

For the final game of the regular season, the Zeppelin players travelled to Ulm to face Karlsruhe Storm Lacrosse along with our teammates of Ulm Lacrosse. After last week's defeat, a win was needed to climb higher in our division; from the very first Face-Off, our Offense was able to carry out various attacks on the opponents from Karlsruhe while our Defense smothered any attempt on our own goal. This enabled us to deliver a dominating performance, leading with a 10:0 score by the beginning of the final Quarter. After battling it out under the blazing sun, we only surrendered a single goal in the final 10 minutes of the game, finishing with a 10:1 final score!
After another successful season, it is now time to say farewell to all our fellow teammates who either finished studying at the Zeppelin University or in Ulm, and to those from other parts in the world who have been a huge help through this season! Thank you for your effort and commitment, and we're excited to hopefully welcome any of our departing players back into our team whenever they find their way back to Friedrichshafen and Ulm! We wish our players, fellow students and co-workers as well as bench-volunteers and fans the best of luck for the future and we hope that everyone has a great summer!

After two dominant wins in a row, our team consisting of ZLF and Ulm Lacrosse players unfortunately took a loss in today's game against the League Leaders Pumas PTSV Jahn Freiburg Lacrosse. Despite having only a total of three substitution players, our team held up a strong Defense throughout the First two quarters of the game, keeping up with the strong Freiburg Offense. After our Offense was able to capitalise on a few mistakes from our opponent, it looked as if we would be able to turn the game around. Sadly, Freiburg was able to keep up the pressure and scoring multiple times in the last quarter, finishing the game with a 8:3 final score!
