What a Rugby Day in Freiburg! 🔥
Under a blazing autumn sun with 30°C, the FT Freiburg grounds became the stage for an unforgettable match. After two great games of old boys from vs and .women vs our men’s game took place. With live commentary from our Boulder guest, who kept the crowd buzzing and explained every twist and turn, the atmosphere was electric. 🙌🇺🇸🇩🇪
Freiburg struck first and controlled long phases, stealing the ball time and again. Yet, we struggled with conversions, keeping the game tight. At halftime it was 17–12, and the battle stayed fierce until the very end – finishing 33–27 in front of a fantastic crowd. 🏉💥
A true showcase of rugby spirit, fast backs breaking through despite the heat, and two teams pushing each other to the limit.
And of course – as tradition demands – we all came together afterward for a fantastic third half. Thanks to und for awesome music what gave our Rugbytag a perfect surrounding.
