Two great days at 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 & 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 have come to an end.

Measuring temperature is common practice for various reasons. But temperature alone doesn’t tell you about dynamics of temperature changes.

HIOKI EUROPE GmbH welcomed a very pleasant visit from our Headquarters in Japan: CEO Okazawa-san, Global Sales Director Takano-san, Obara-san and Mandai-san.

The visit focused on aligning the future direction for in Europe. We reviewed current developments, discussed priorities for 2026 and beyond, and confirmed a shared view: HIOKI EUROPE is moving forward, as a growing team and organization.

Outside the business agenda, our team had prepared something special this year: a city rallye with fun challenges, personal exchange and shared moments beyond daily work. Thanks to everybody hanging in despite the highest summer temperatures in before we could cool off and recharge during a dinner together to make the program complete.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

and start-up current peaks can become hidden error factors in current measurement.
If these peaks exceed the sensor’s measurement range, waveforms may be clipped and if the sensor core becomes magnetized, offset errors can occur. Both effects can distort power consumption measurements and lead to incorrect conclusions.
