If you go down the street you will find a shoemaker who builds shoes according to specific requirements. When the shoes are worn out, the shoes get repaired. On site. By this experienced qualified craftsman. Only if the repair is no longer possible, a new shoe will be made! What a sustainable concept!

OK, this was long time ago.

Of course this concept is not viable today, but what if a mainstream brand designed shoes already with the predefined idea of offering repairs, when worn out? Or, what if with the help of the technologies available today, shoes were produced on demand on a mass scale instead of being stockpiled - ideally individually and close to the market? What would such shoes, processes and points of sale look like? Definitely different from what we already know today.
The crisis will only become a chance if we as an industry take new meaningful paths that society and consumers understand, support and follow.

Starting a company is like a stage bike race. You train long and hard. With the right partners at your side you feel well prepared and ready to go. To
moments of happiness and enthusiasm follow moments of weakness, which cost a lot of energy. But then you fight your way through. From stage to stage. You know that you have what it takes. Arriving is the goal.

And then you are banned on the king's stage: time limit is over before you cross the finish line. Annoying. Many might be the reasons but nobody really cares, out is out!

This is how we feel today, after we finish our "stage race" with e-vers.

What remains? A time we do not want to miss. Experiences that have shaped us: fight, faith, setbacks, success, support, regrets and countless new fellows worldwide. People who have believed in us, who have trusted us, felt part of our team, understood and experienced what our mission is: to make a functional difference that you feel.
No gimmicks. Living and implementing values and quality that make our world a bit better.

The race is over. The idea lives on.
