Aachen, the World Championships - and right in the middle of it all, 16 young riders with their school horses. What may sound like a once-in-a-lifetime dream became a reality as part of .
For these young riders, it was about much more than a placing. It was about being part of a truly special moment, gaining valuable experience and riding at a venue where the biggest names in international equestrian sport usually take centre stage.
A very special highlight: World Team Dressage Champion Raphael Netz joined judge and German Youth Riding Officer Heidi van Thiel at the judging table, taking the time to give each young rider and their horse individual feedback.
For us at Waldhausen, this initiative represents something we truly care about: supporting equestrian sport at grassroots level and helping children and young people discover the joy of riding and build a connection with horses.
Because school horses achieve great things every single day. They are patient, reliable and make those first steps in the saddle possible. So perhaps Aachen wasn’t just about the young riders taking part - it may also have given us a glimpse of the next generation of World Champions. 🏆
