August training dates are here! ☀️🏐

We'll be taking a short summer break for the first two weeks of the month, so there are just two training sessions scheduled in August. We hope everyone enjoys some well-deserved time to relax, recharge, and make the most of the summer holidays! 💛

We'll be back on court on the dates above and would love to see you there. As always, everyone is welcome at our club and in our netball community, whatever your age or ability.

A new month means more opportunities to get on the court, meet new people, and enjoy some netball in the sunshine. Whether you're a regular at training or thinking about giving it a try for the first time, we'd love to see you! 💛

🍦Today was game day! It was a pleasure for DCNC to host players from Frankfurt today for netball training and a mixed match at the end. Lots of fun was had, lots of sweating was done, lots of ice lollies were consumed… not bad for the hottest day of the year. 🤩

☀️ Thank you Maastricht for hosting the Summer Shootout 2026! We’ve just about stopped sweating and now we’re reminiscing about all the great netball we played and watched – including a fabulous and TENSE final between Maastricht and Brantwerp 🇳🇱🇧🇪

Congratulations to Bella (WD/C) and Charlie (GD) from DC Lightning who won the shootout game and “best and fairest” respectively 💪 and well done to the DC team. We put in a great performance and only missed out on the final by goal difference! Oh, and can you spot our lovely GS Jeannie moonlighting as a member of the Tri-Country Titans? 👀

🧗We don’t just play netball at Düsseldorf-Cologne Netball Club… we have socials, too!

A few weeks ago, one of our intrepid members introduced some of the team to his (other) favourite hobby – bouldering! After a few shaky starts, we (well, some of us) managed to conquer the heights of Boulder Planet Köln 💪 and we rewarded ourselves with some drinks afterwards too, of course 🍻

🎥 Düsseldorf-Cologne Netball Club on tv!

In May, we were lucky enough to welcome to film our weekly training session and match play, which was broadcast on regional tv (Lokalzeit aus Köln) earlier this week. Thank you to Markus from wdr for reaching out and making it possible, and for all the players who participated (in the session, and by bringing post-training snacks from their home countries 😋) – it means so much for our club!

🇩🇪 Netball is slowly becoming more visible in Germany and we love to be a part of that change – while bringing this great international community together.

🎥It’s been a big week for Düsseldorf-Cologne Netball Club!

🏐At Tuesday’s training we welcomed Markus and Paula (who are now pros on the various netball positions) from to film DCNC doing drills, playing some great netball—and, of course, partaking in tasty homemade treats (from our members’ homelands!) afterwards 😋

✨ One week on from the final round of the Tri-Country Cup, we’re still smiling! It was a great day hosting Brabant, Brussels and Maastricht here in Cologne: lots of amazing netball, lots of teamwork, lots of hard work – and, of course, a potluck and drinks to celebrate🥂

Congratulations to the league winners Maastricht! Now who’s in for the next round? 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

Today is the day! The fourth and final round of the inaugural Tri-Country Cup 25-26 🏆

We’ve loved getting to know our neighbouring teams in Brabant, Brussels and Maastricht, playing lots of netball and having so much fun along the way 🏐
