We’re thrilled that RISE was invited by ALBA Berlin to spotlight visit their Sport Vernetzt programme in action.

Together, we’re highlighting the incredible work of ALBA’s Sport vernetzt project — and there’s no better place to see this in action than Gropiusstadt, Berlin. 💫

👉 Check out the video showcasing how regular, inclusive sports programming is transforming schools, empowering kids, and strengthening community bonds in one of Berlin’s most diverse neighborhoods.

🤺 How can Sport for Social Impact help shape a club’s strategy? That was the key question explored with the Salzburg Fencing Federation in Austria 🇦🇹✨

🔹 We looked at how sport can go beyond performance to create positive community impact
🔹 Explored ways the RISE Platform can support clubs in embedding inclusion, equity, and social values into their long-term strategies
🔹 Reflected on how fencing – and sport in general – can become a stronger force for social good

Strategy begins with purpose, and sport has plenty to offer. 🗣️⚔️💡

🌊 What does Sport for Social Impact look like in action? We explored this and so much more in the vibrant surf town of Ericeira, Portugal! 🇵🇹🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️

During the event, we:
🔹 Had meaningful discussions on how sport can create real social change
🔹 Introduced the RISE Platform to a passionate group of sports stakeholders
🔹 Got inspired by the Inclusive Surfing programme from Ericeira Surf Club, showing how gender equity and accessibility can be embedded in local sports communities

From deep conversations to powerful local examples, Ericeira reminded us how sport can truly unite and uplift. Let’s ride this wave of impact together! 🌍💬

What is Sport for Social Impact? 🌍🏒💬

We explored this powerful question and so much more at our recent gathering in Lausanne, Switzerland! 🙌

✅ We had inspiring discussions on how sport can be a tool for positive change
✅ Introduced the RISE Platform to key sports stakeholders – a big step forward!
✅ Took a closer look at how gender equity can be embedded into sports clubs, thanks to the amazing example of the Lausanne Women’s Hockey Club

Sport isn’t just about competition – it’s about community, inclusion, and creating lasting impact. Let’s keep the momentum going! 💪✨

📢 QLS4G Project Meeting in Rome – Preparing for the Launch of the RISE Platform! 🇮🇹

The QLS4G Project team gathered in Rome for a critical meeting focused on finalizing event planning and preparing for the official launch of the RISE platform. With the support of the EU, this session marked a major milestone in ensuring that RISE is introduced effectively to sports organizations across Europe.

During this meeting, we:

✅ Finalized the strategy for the RISE platform launch, ensuring maximum engagement from sports organizations, federations, and stakeholders.
✅ Planned key events, including promotional activities, training sessions, and conferences to introduce RISE to the broader sports community.
✅ Coordinated outreach efforts to ensure that sports organizations understand how RISE can support their governance and social impact goals.
✅ Aligned our sustainability plan, ensuring that RISE remains a valuable resource beyond the QLS4G Project’s initial funding period.

Rome provided the perfect setting for strategic planning and collaboration, helping us refine our approach to ensuring a successful and impactful launch.

A big thank you to our partners and contributors for their dedication! We are now one step closer to unveiling RISE as a game-changing platform for sports governance and social impact. Stay tuned for exciting updates!

We are excited to share a special video from our meeting of the ECOLAH project - “Embracing a Complexity-Orientated Learning Approach in Health”. This EU co-funded project aims to understand how higher education can better support a healthier society.

Our consortium recognizes the need to support the transition in health care by challenging the decontextualized evidence base of health sciences and the reactive orientation to health problems. We must prepare educators and students to face this complexity, helping them to find new possibilities in the mix of social, chronic and multimorbidity issues in public health.

Special thanks to the , and all our partners: Hanzehogeschool Groningen, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, HAN University of Applied Sciences, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, Thrive Institute, Rechten050 - Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, NL Health Holland, and Unesco.

Thanks also to all the incredible people involved!
