The world of sport is our passion. For over 50 years, our mission at Polytan has been to provide the All other matches must be played on natural grass.

Polytan GmbH is a Burgheim, Germany-based manufacturer and installer of synthetic sport surfaces, including running tracks and synthetic turf. Polytan sports surfaces have been in use for more than 37 years, with more than 25 million square meters of sports surface installed across the world. Polytan manufactures and installs both 1* and 2* FIFA RECOMMENDED artificial fields, utilizing a monofilam

ent fiber. Only synthetic turf installations attaining 2* certification are permitted by FIFA to be used for World Cup qualifying and Champions League matches. Polytan supplies their own raw materials, manufactures their own product, and installs it themselves in the field. Polyurethane raw materials and artificial grass fibers are developed and formulated in its own laboratories and then manufactured ready for laying in its own production facilities. The complete product range is tailored to the specific requirements of each type of sport and optimised for care and maintenance, but include running tracks, all-weather pitches, elastic layers and shockpads for non-sandfilled and filled artificial grass, the installation of asphalt substrates, lining, repairs and the cleaning of synthetic sports surfaces. Since 1989, Polytan sports surfaces have been subject to annual national quality assurance inspections carried out by the Otto Graf Institute, FMPA, of Stuttgart University in accordance with RAL-GZ 943/1 and RAL-GZ 943/2 as well as inspections to DIN V 18035/7 standard. Additionally, Polytan surfaces are also tested and certified to all existing standards in the various European countries. Polytan surfaces also hold certification confirming compliance with the standards of all major international sports governing bodies, e.g. IAAF, FIFA, UEFA, and FIH, and have repeatedly demonstrated their continued suitability in numerous field tests following installation.

From LigaTurf RS+ and LigaTurf Legend Pro football surfaces to a Rekortan BS sprint track and Poligras SuperPlay MUGAs, every area was built for performance, durability and year-round use.

This is what happens when school sport stops being an afterthought.

What was once a challenging piece of terrain is now a vibrant space where the Erndtebrück community can play, train and connect.

With a new multi-sport arena, soccer court and athletics facilities, the Pulverwaldstadion has become a place for all generations to get active and have fun. ⚽🏃

Behind the scenes? Over 4,000 m³ of earth had to be moved to make this vision a reality. The result is a modern sports hub built for today and ready for the future.

Indoor Tennis Court Renovation in Mayet, France

The city of Mayet entrusted Polytan with the renovation of their indoor tennis court – and the result speaks for itself. After removing the old floor and completing the subbase preparation, our teams installed LAYKOLD® MASTER 8, delivering a high-performance, ultra-comfortable playing surface.

The system combines a 7 mm elastic shock pad, a floating installation method, and high-performance acrylic resin layers – ensuring excellent playability, long-lasting durability and enhanced player safety.

Thanks to the floating installation, the surface is also well protected against rising moisture, making it an ideal solution for indoor facilities.

A perfect setup for year-round training – even in winter. ❄️🎾
