1 blood donation can save up to 3 lives 🩸

On World Blood Donor Day, we want to highlight just how important every donation is. Blood is needed every day and cannot be artificially produced, which is why it’s so important for as many people as possible to donate regularly and support medical care.

At SEW-EURODRIVE, we are also setting an example:
This month, our headquarters in Bruchsal is hosting a blood donation drive for employees together with the German Red Cross Blood Donation Service Baden-Württemberg. Our international locations also regularly host blood donation campaigns.

Together, we can take responsibility and help save lives. Every donation counts! ❤️

SEW EURODRIVE is part of the future alliance

The initiative, which was launched by Auerbach Stiftung and Rotary Club Bruchsal-Rhein, brings together more than 20 organizations from across the region with one shared goal: inspiring young people early on to explore STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and discover future career paths.

Through hands-on projects, they have the opportunity to experiment, develop their own ideas, and discover their strengths.

During the official kick-off event in the Z-LAB, Zukunftslabor der Auerbach Stiftung in Bruchsal, it became clear how much can be achieved when partners combine their expertise and resources.

As Markus Süß, Group Manager Technical Training at SEW EURODRIVE, says: “Young people need the freedom to explore and develop their own interests.”

SEWWOMEN | A Day at SEW-EURODRIVE – Episode 3 with Madleen Plich

When technology becomes tangible, that’s when the best part of Madleen Plich’s job begins. Unpacking measuring equipment, standing right at the system, implementing solutions that truly fit.

For Madleen, this is more than routine. She works as a regional application engineer at SEW-EURODRIVE near Hanover, Germany. Her role: listening closely, understanding real needs, and translating technical requirements into proven, practical solutions.

What drives her isn’t just the technology itself, but the conversations, the questions, and the shared process of finding the best possible path forward. Every application is different, every customer visit unique and that’s exactly what Madleen loves about her work.

She stands for technology with purpose and conviction. She encourages people to challenge familiar patterns. Because technical expertise and success are not a question of gender, but of believing in yourself!

For more than four decades, SEW-EURODRIVE and Lebenshilfe für Menschen mit Behinderungen Bruchsal-Bretten e.V., an organization supporting and employing people with disabilities, have been working together in close partnership.

What began in the 1980s has grown into a collaboration built on trust, reliability and shared values. Today, the partnership extends from the Lebenshilfe workshops to direct support on site at our electronics production facility in Bruchsal.

Together, we create an environment where inclusion, teamwork and regional connection are part of everyday working life while contributing to high quality production processes.
