April is C-Section Awareness Month 💝 Every pregnancy is different… and every birth tells its own story.
At 38 weeks, I was already 3 cm dilated.
A week later, still 3 cm, but contractions had begun.
After 40 hours of labor, I only reached 9 cm.
My body was exhausted… and so was my baby.
Her heartbeat started showing signs of stress.
My water was induced and it turned green, not from infection, but from the long, tiring contractions.
I was sleep-deprived, overwhelmed, and trying to hold on.
In the end, one final decision was made, a C-section, not out of fear, but out of love.
Just to bring her out safely… just to make sure she was okay.
But the journey didn’t stop there.
Because of low blood sugar, she was brought to the NICU.
For 7 days, I stayed close, breastfeeding her, holding on to hope, and finding strength in every moment.
After 10 days of recovery, we finally went home together.
Now, it has been 6 months. Looking back, it wasn’t easy, but we made it through.
And we were blessed with a strong and beautiful baby. 🤩
With love and strength, we will continue to give our best to raise her. 😍
To every mom out there:
Your journey may not be easy,
but your strength will carry you through. 😇
