Cannot believe I am sharing a photo like this but hey!
So tomorrow officially begins my postpartum healthy living journey and I am so excited.
Whilst being pregnant I have been enjoying all the naughty foods! You name it I have eaten it. Takeaways, loads of buttery toast, and cheese! Oooh and a fizzy drink addiction also came out to play! I did not deprive myself at all and just enjoyed the time. I put on about 11 kgs
Now I am almost at 10 weeks postpartum and I am sick of it! Ha! Sick of myself, feeling sluggish and not fitting into any clothes! Now I don’t care about being back to pre pregnancy weight or anything like that, but I want my definition back! I want to feel strong again!
So this mumma is starting her 30 day plan tomo! This is my own plan which I also provide for clients, I wouldn’t sell anything I wouldn’t do myself! Time to sort myself out! No gimmicks or quick fixes! Just Whole Foods and healthy supplements! And what better time to do it whilst on lockdown!!!
So for now... bye bye crisps, coffee, and cheese! See ya! This mumma got goals! Excited to take you all on this journey with me, I want to show you that feeling good is not always about calorie counting or deprivation! It’s about filling your body with the right things!

How many of you are saying at the moment that you will get healthy after the holidays? Cmon.... honesty time!
Today is November the 26th! That means there are 36 days left of 2019! Which is insane i know!
So let’s say you are someone who eats 3 meals per day...... that means there are 108 meals left of 2019......let’s take xmas eve,xmas day and Boxing Day, and nye as celebration days...... that equates to around 12 meals during the holidays!
That’s it.... 12 out of 108!
So if you are someone who is saying.... after the hols I will ....... you are basically saying that cos you wanna blow out on those 12 meals! I get ya and me too!!!!!!
But what about the 96 meals left? Does that mean that they all go out the window too until Jan 1st? It sounds a little crazy when it’s all written out right?
So why not do a little something with the time you have left in this decade? And still enjoy all the holiday treats.....
I am running a special 14 day program to get you started on a track to where you might want to continue after the hols..... so that once the celebrations begin, you know you have not wasted the days in the lead up as well and are going in feeling amazing!!!

So I want to clear up some confusion about supplements!!! A lot of people say to me, I DONT BELIEVE IN SUPPLEMENTS! I believe in real food!! I hear this a lot from fitness pros themselves.....
This is my honest answer..... in a perfect world YES OF COURSE YOU CAN GET ALL YOU NEED FROM FOOD!! That’s a given....... that is however only true if you are eating a VERY Nutrient dense diet.... which let me tell you is harder than you think!!!! In most people’s busy lives that’s not ever going to work!
Supplements are not a REPLACEMENT for food at all, they are there to bridge some gaps, which we ALL have in our diets in this day and age!
Saying you don’t believe in supplements is a very blanket comment, I do not think supplementing is the only way to be healthy..... and it may not be right for all....I do however think it a convienient way to bridge a gap which is sometimes tricky to do with food alone..... not to mention that our food is so nutrient depleted from all the over farming and pesticides.....
Knowing this I think it is our responsibility as fitness professionals to be open to both sides of the coin.....
some supplements for some people will just help massively for certain issues......
Some supplements are pure and absolute rubbish.....
They are not a replacement for a healthy diet!!..........
That’s it..... let’s just all be a bit more open to the fact that health looks different to all, and not to push our personal beliefs onto those in order to inspire change.....

Gotta break it to ya loves...... the one thing that is standing in your way from you getting on your healthier and fitter journey is the space between your ears!! MINDSET!!! That is the thing stopping you....
It’s not the fact you have no time
It’s not the fact that you have no money
It’s not the fact that you are waiting until you have been on that holiday or to that event..... all those things are screaming at you that you need to get your mindset in check!!
Every one has time! It’s about priorities! And how do you figure them out? By working on your MINDSET
It’s not that you don’t have the money.... working out can cost NOTHING! ZERO! And eating healthy can also be so cheap! It’s about your MINDSET and what you think you deserve ....
If you are waiting until..... then that until never comes! PROCRASTINATION!!! That is also a product of a non productive MINDSET!
Honestly get to work on that and the rest will drop into place!!!

The best weight you will ever lose is the weight of other people’s opinions!!!
Really this is the key to all happiness! We spend so long listening to others, we let the fear of their opinions actually stop us from our dreams!! It is crazy isn’t it!!
My motto is this..... unless this person is living the kind of life I would love to live...... then they can keep their opinions to themselves!!!!
Honestly, if someone is not where you want to be, in health, in life or in business then what the hell are we doing taking their advice!
Something to think about my friends! Whose opinion can you let go of today? How much lighter would you feel without dragging around everyone else’s baggage?

It’s so easy to scroll through Insta, see someone with a body you think is banging absolutely crushing their fitness life, and think right.... that’s it... my fitness journey starts here!!!
That’s awesome but how long do you think that motivation will last for? Maybe 1 or 2 workouts BUT THATS IT! Soon you will be back on IG scrolling away on the couch waiting for your next inspo to pop up!
If you figure out WHY you want to get healthier and fitter there will be some much more lasting motivators in there..... like getting strong af, being an example to your family, improving health and well-being.
Those will be the reasons you will stick with it!!! TRUST ME! Insta inspo is far too fleeting!!

Don’t wait til you have lower back pain to start incorporating more movement into your life
Don’t wait til your skin is so horrendous that you can’t leave the house without make up....
Don’t wait til you are ill to realize something needs to change with your health.....
Don’t wait til your doctor tells you that you need to lose that stone of weight that’s been hanging about...
You can either start investing in your health and fitness now, or be prepared to invest in illness later on in life, that is the reality
You body will decide when enough is enough, and trust me, it will SCREAM when it needs you to wake up!
Don’t wait!!!!

Waiting for the perfect moment is gonna be your biggest downfall, cos you know what.... THERE IS NO PERFECT MOMENT!! Life is whizzing by us and if we spend all our time waiting instead of doing then we have f #%*ed it! (Scuse my French)
Health and fitness goals are one thing that so many procrastinate about...you wait until, until until.....NEVER!!!

There is nothing holding you back......EXCEPT.....guess what......YOU!!!!
YOU are the only thing holding you back from achieving what you want. Whether that is a health and wellness goal, or a goal related to life/business....... it all comes back to one thing.....
All those little stories you tell yourself everyday about why you can’t do something.... those little excuses.... blaming others..... THATS what’s killing your dream.
We all have the same amount of hours in a day. And WE all have the ability to succeed..... whether you can get your head in the game or not? That’s what separates those who do the do and those who rely on their excuses..... THATS IT!
Delving into personal development is a really inexpensive way to change your mindset.... just a few small shifts could make all the difference in your life!!!!

Are you a negative nelly? Does your ‘personality’ revolve around speaking negatively about others and their ideas....?
Now I am not saying you have to agree with everyone, but maybe if you don’t then just keep your mouth shut....if that’s the way they want to live then let them.....nobody wants to be around people who just can’t stop slating others... it’s just not fun..... maybe being constructive is ok. But just slating cos you don’t agree doesn’t help anyone!!!
I just made the step to unfollow any account that I feel just is around to make fun of others.... it just got Boring and I don’t want to see that stuff on my feed!! In my opinion everyone is just trying to do the best they can......
Give that a try. That’s the beauty of social media. You get to decide what you want to see and what you don’t!!!

Taking some time out this week.... gotta say that I was feeling a little pooped with the world....
Deffo am taking a step back slightly from social media this week! I absolutely love social media and the endless possibilities it brings.... BUT sometimes seeing others doing exactly what you want to be doing and achieving is tough when you are still a work in progress, at least it feels that way a little for me.....
Yes, we all know that we shouldn’t compare ourselves, we get told it so many times.... BUT it’s bloody hard.... so I am taking that as a sign I need to just take a step away, concentrate on my reading and personal development and just have a little regroup..... (I am continuing with a few consistent activities) but other than that.... no scrolling!!
Do you suffer from comparisonitus? Then maybe a step away is what you need!!! Focus on you, get back in touch with your journey, breathe and reboot!
