TSP - Chamonix to Marseille - recap from (one of) our teams: Chaotic Braves. ⛰️🏁
Starting in The Alps, things almost immediately took a turn for the worst. One of our runners suffered a severe injury within the first 5 hours of the race. After listening to the advice of the doctors, we made a group decision to continue and leave our runner to seek the medical care she required. The remaining 5 runners battled through 460km of the most dramatic, breathtaking landscapes. With over 60 hours of intense running and emotions, resulting in something incredible as we made it to the finish line in Marseille together. The race had everything: scorching heat, deadly nighttime trails, tears of overwhelm, herds of protective animals, and difficult conversations within the team. However, the desire to finish what we started and not let a sidelined runner stop us from achieving our goal.
We arrived in Marseille with our heads held high and learnt to accept that not all things can be controllable.
