Both a body and a mindset glow up!!
And it started with understanding one thing:
“Toned” isn’t the end of the road and it’s also not a result of more cardio or eating less. Toned is just muscle — the shape that muscle gives your body when you’ve built enough of it. The only way to get there is to lift heavy and eat enough to support it.
I was doing 8-10 cardio sessions a week, under-eating and wondering why my body wasn’t changing. Way too much volume and energy output with not enough food, training, and recovery to support that
The turning point arrived after I broke my arm realizing that a bone shouldn’t snap that easily 🫢
Its taken me years to arrive at this point of understanding that I needed to muscle instead of trying to get rid of fat in order to “get toned.”
The muscle adds shape, clothes fit differently, the body moves better which in turn creates stronger bones, mind, and a body that feels good to move in
