We’re very happy to finally share something we’ve been working on for a while.🪷
Chimosa takes its name from “Formosa,” an older name for Taiwan, and reflects our founders’ Chinese and Taiwanese heritage. This retreat is something close to our hearts, and we’re grateful to be able to bring it to life in a place that carries so much meaning to us.
From October 19–29, 2026, we’ll be hosting a 10-day retreat in Taiwan, based in Wulai.
The program includes a balance of training, cultural experiences, and time in nature:
– Morning runs and Tai Chi / Qigong by the Nanshi River
– Kung Fu / Sanda training in the surrounding mountains
– Visits to Wulai’s Atayal village for shared meals
– Mandarin classes at the Taipei Language Institute
– Temple visits, Jiufen Old Town, and the National Palace Museum
– Night market visits and local food experiences
– Daily nature walks and access to hot and cold springs
Guests will stay 9 nights at Spring Spa Hotel in Wulai, with breakfast, lunch, and non-alcoholic beverages included, along with guided cultural activities and training sessions. Participation in all activities is optional, allowing space to rest and take part at your own pace. #
