The German Open Wheelchair Tennis are held in Berlin since 2011. They are part of the NEC Wheelchair

The German Open Wheelchair Tennis Berlin are a well known tennis tournament. Two clubs, the “BTTC Grün-Weiß” and the “Zehlendorfer Wespen”, agreed to alternate in hosting the German Open since 2011. With every year the event became a fixed institution as one of the many sports events of Berlin. As a result of the great efforts of staff, volunteers and players the ITF upgraded the German Open from

Players from all over the world come to Berlin to aim each year for the title. We are happy to have welcomed worldclass players like Alfie Hewett (GB) and Katharina Krüger (GER). As well as other top-ranked athletes like Tom Egberink (NED), Steffen Sommerfeld (GER), Robinson Mendez (CHI) or Lucy Shuker (GB).
