DOWN TO THE LAST OVER 🔴🏏
A proud night for BCA, even if the result did not fall our way. Our second Regionalliga T20 went all the way to the final ball before ICAB edged it by 3 wickets.
Batting first, Prajwal Jagadish led the way with a classy 40, Parveen kept the scoreboard ticking with 26, and Prithivinath added a solid 21 to take us to 143 for 7, a total we backed ourselves to defend.
And we very nearly did. ICAB found a platform through the Shubham and Mughil stand, but our bowlers refused to let the game drift. We hit back with wickets at key moments and dragged it right to the wire. Gokkul (2 for 25) and Atharva (2 for 21) were outstanding at the death, and Mayank held his nerve in a tense final over to remove the dangerous Sandan just as it was slipping away. We made them earn every single run, and it took two late sixes from Varun to finally settle it.
So proud of this group. We took it to the very last over and beaten by the finest of margins, but so much to build on.
