⚜️Master of the Escuela Equitabilis ⚜️
This year’s Escuela Equitabilis Meeting was a particularly meaningful milestone for me, as I officially received my Master’s certificate during the school’s 10th anniversary.
For me, Authentische Reitkunst is above all about continuously learning, questioning, and developing ourselves in order to become better for our horses. It is not about following one rigid path, but about working from a common foundation while remaining conscious, individual, and authentic in our approach.
That is also what makes being part of this community so special. We can all be individuals and remain authentic, while sharing a common goal. Everyone can bring their own personality, experience, and perspective to it, while at the same time learning from and absorbing the knowledge of our Master, Sabine Oettel.
One of the greatest values of the Escuela for me is this openness. We can discuss, question, exchange ideas, and explore completely different subjects together, and there is always someone we can turn to when we need another perspective or have questions about a particular area.
This year’s 10th Escuela Meeting was a great example of that. We had the opportunity to discuss everything from historical bits and dentistry to hoof care, as well as the horses’ mental balance and the functioning of their nervous system.
For me, this is what Authentische Reitkunst is about: a shared foundation, continuous learning, openness, and finding your own authentic path.
And, of course, there is always more to learn and develop. 💛
