Audi AG announced earlier today that the German manufacturer will support Mattias Ekstrom’s EKS squad in the 2017 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy.

Rejoyed too soon! The gear wheel of the 5th gear is missing! “This part is currently not available.” told us Sadev distributor mto today. We are really sorry to say that we will not take part in the RCE round at Maasmechelen.

Gearbox parts from sadev have arrived and we hope to get the clutch parts from AP tomorrow. The RCE round in Maasmechelen comes slowly in sight!

After having finished the race in Maasmechelen two weeks ago, last weekend we went to Nysum with Jan Becker for testing.

Up to approx. 2.30pm everything was super! Then I heard unpleasant noises coming from the engine compartment. Gearbox failure!!

We're going to examine the gearbox and diff together with Günther of Becker Motorsport and hope to be race ready again on 6./7. of August in order to take part in the RCE round at Maasmechelen.

Keep your fingers rallycrossed for us!

Last weekend we took part in an Belgian/British round at Maasmechelen. Finally we could race our Audi A1 Auper1600 in the sun.
It had good races and collected a lot of infos about the car, but unfortunately, we got stuck in the semi-finals.
