A round of applause is in full effect for Team Nigeria skeleton athletes, and , as they wrap up their skeleton season at the North America Cup Skeleton Race in Lake Placid, New York. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🙌🏿🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

In his first official race of the season, Martin finished in 12th place, while Yinka closed an impressive first season in a personal best finish of 10th place. Congratulations to both of you and well done!

Final World Cup race of the season. Olympic qualifications on the line.

competed on the highest stage of competition with many of the worlds best competitors in the World Cup Monobob race in Altenberg, Germany 🇩🇪 in January 17th. She finished strong in 18th place, improving on her first World Cup finish this season of 26th place.

Final Olympic Qualifiers will be announced following the January 18th deadline. With Simi currently on the qualification “bubble” we await the final announcement in the coming days!

Action continues in the sport of skeleton as clocks speeds of over 92km/h sliding head first down ice at the Winterberg Europe Cup. Yinka successfully completed another race with a personal best, bringing his total races to an impressive 9 competitions so far his first season.

Another historic moment recorded for Team took place at the Europe Cup in Winterberg, Germany. took to the ice in her second 2-women bobsled race with Lagos-based brakewoman, .

Sekinat, 3x National champion brakeman and the first Nigerian brakeman to win an international medal, debuted her 2025-2026 Olympic season in Germany🇩🇪. In their first European race together, this 2-woman bobsled duo finished in 16th place to earn vital points towards Olympic qualification.

Racing wraps up at the Europe Cup in Altenberg, Germany for !

She successfully completed two races in the event of Monobob. Her 10th place and 9th place finishes, respectively, earned crucial points towards achieving a qualifying spot for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics.

But there are still more qualifying races to go and more points to get! Next stop, Europe Cup in Winterberg, Germany!

The 2nd race is officially in the books for 👏🏿👏🏿🇳🇬🇳🇬. Yinka competed in a field of 33 male skeleton athletes and finished with a HUGE personal best time of 57.09 at the Asia Cup in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
