P3 overall at the Fuji 24hr after a whirlwind race!!

A punctured tire followed by a broken drive shaft really took away byany hope of the victory. Nothing was really coming easy, but all our drivers drove perfectly to navigate all the different scenarios and situations thrown at them.

Although there were ups and downs, our drivers and , kept their heads down and drove perfectly, bringing the #33 Mercedes-AMG GT3 home on the podium in 3rd place overall! A massive congratulations to the team with their relentless effort, we fought back from P7 all the way to challenging for another win. In the end, secured a hard earned and fought podium!

Fuji threw everything at us this weekend and we fought back stronger each time!

Coming out of the night battling for P1, but a tyre puncture followed by a drive shaft problem led to an emergency stop to the garage.

Fortunately, with the amazing work by the crew, the team was able to get the car back out in just over 10min. Now sitting in P3 with 3.5 hours to go!

Currently in 4th place after a strong race start by & . Heading into the night, took over for a phenomenal double stint getting us back to P4. Now 18 year old takes over for a double stint.

Our pace has been good and there’s still 18 hours to go, so it’s head down and full focus as we go through the night 👊

We are ready for the Fuji 24!

After yesterdays incident, the team stayed at the track working until 330am getting the car ready for today’s qualifying. We qualified P4 for the combined qualifying, but after a track limit infraction, we dropped to P7 overall for the start of the race.

The team and car are prepared, we will give it our all to bring home the win. Fuji 24, here we come!

Not how the team pictured starting the Fuji 24hr night practice today, after contact in turn 2 took off the left rear corner of our AMG GT3.

The team didn't give up as was required to complete a minimum one lap in the night session.

35min later with the best teamwork on display, the car was repaired and back on track with seconds to spare. Everything can happen in a 24hr race weekend, but teamwork always perseveres.

Qualifying tomorrow! Let's go!!

It’s race week! Time for the Fuji 24HR, the biggest race of the year on our Super Taikyu calendar. We’re heading there as the championship leaders after two consecutive wins, with the extra challenge of carrying 60kg of additional success ballast. We have a strong experienced line-up, and we are ready to take on all the challenges that come our way in the race.

Joining season regulars , , and in the #33 Mercedes-AMG GT3 are two familiar additions: Mercedes-AMG Junior Drivers , who drove with us 2 years ago in the Fuji 24 hrs as well as the GTWC Asia and who drove also at the Fuji 24 last year. Welcome back and let’s go get that trophy!

Our chairman Frank Yu will be back behind the wheel at the Super Taikyu Fuji 24hrs! Sadly he wont be in our AMG GT3, but a full circle moment for him back to Hitotsuyama Racing, the team he raced with 15 years ago in Japan’s Super GT championship, this time in the ST3 class in a M2. All the best Frank!
