Páteční podvečer výjimečně patřil rodičům.

Rodičovský slowpitch nabídl úplně všechno. Manželský strikeout, nataženou nohu, několik potenciálně zablokovaných zad a krků, neúnavné cheerleaders v publiku, ale taky povedené outy v poli a pár hitů, za které by se nemuselo stydět ani naše Áčko. 😎

Ukázalo se, že sportovní geny se v rodinách opravdu nezapřou. Jen regenerace už trvá o něco déle. 😅

Díky všem za skvělou atmosféru a parádní páteční večer. Těšíme se zase příště🧢

Every softball parent starts the same way.
"I just want to support her."
"I just want her to reach her potential."
"I just want what's best for her."
And they mean it.
Every single word.
But somewhere between the first practice
and the hundredth car ride home —
something quietly shifts.
You start replaying her at-bats in your head.
You start researching her mechanics on YouTube.
You start knowing her stats better than she does.
You start talking about her games
in the first person plural.
"We need to work on our swing."
"We had a rough game today."
She notices.
She might not say anything.
But she notices.
Research shows that the number one reason
girls quit sports before 13
isn't burnout from the game.
It's the pressure from the people
who love them the most.
The hardest question a softball parent
can ask themselves is this:
On the drive home after a tough game —
are you the person she wants to talk to?
Or the person she's dreading talking to?
You already know which one matters more.
This isn't judgment.
This is the question worth asking.
Because you still have time to be
the parent she runs to.
Not away from. 🧡
