10 health indicators to watch regularly 🙌🏻
1. blood pressure.
It's worth watching your blood pressure more closely if you have blood group II, III or IV. According to research, these groups are associated with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease.
2. Cholesterol levels
Cholesterol is essential for building body cells and other important processes, but when there is too much of it, it is dangerous. Cholesterol plaques can start to form on the walls of arteries, which in turn leads to atherosclerosis.
3. Triglyceride levels
This is the third factor to consider when monitoring your risk of cardiovascular disease. Triglycerides, like 'bad' cholesterol, are linked to the risk of arterial plaques and the development of atherosclerosis. So take regular tests and consult your doctor.
4. Thyroid hormone levels
They affect many body systems, including your metabolism. If your thyroid hormone levels are low, you may experience various unpleasant symptoms: difficulty losing weight, loss of energy, foggy thinking and forgetfulness.
5. The condition of the teeth
Bacteria in the plaque are associated with coronary insufficiency. Their presence causes blood platelets to form clots that block blood vessels and may cause inflammation of heart valves.
6. Colour and shape of moles
The more moles you have, the greater your risk of developing a malignancy in one of them. Examine yourself once a month, paying attention to neoplasms, changes in colour or shape of moles, and an increase in their size.
7. Spinal curvature
It is worth checking to see if you have a curvature. It may be small and uncomfortable now, but over time, it can lead to chronic back pain and mobility problems.
If you notice signs of curvature, see your doctor. He will determine the degree of spinal deformity and select treatment options.
8. Intensity of headaches
If your head hurts more than once a week, see your doctor to find the cause. If the headache is accompanied by symptoms such as loss of vision, facial nerve paralysis, weakness in an arm or leg, loss of ability to speak or understand speech, seek medical help immediately.
9. Blood sugar levels
High blood glucose levels (hyperglycaemia) cause inflammation in the body and damage the blood vessels. Over time, this can lead to cardiovascular disease and other health problems.
10. Breast condition
On self-examination, pay attention to lumps and visual changes. If your breast tissue has changed in some way, remember the specific spot in your breast where something seems strange to you and watch for the next weeks. But if you notice rapid changes (reddening of the skin, ulceration, retraction of the ni**le), don't delay going to the doctor.
