Ahoj přátelé, piloti, hikeři !
Devátý ročník tradičního závodu Hike and Fly Raná 2025 je za námi a náramně se povedl. Sešla se výborná parta 33 závodníků, panovala, po celou dobu, dobrá nálada a počasí bylo navzdory předpovědi nakloněné i létání. Trasa kategorie sport byla vzdušnou čarou cca 30km a trasa hobby necelých 20 km. Po zemi se pak tato vzdálenost značně navýšila.

Závod se bohužel neobešel bez nehody. Pilot přetáhl ve stoupáku jednostranně řízení a zřítil se do stromů. Naštěstí dopadla bez vážnějšího zranění, pilot odešel po svých i když byl následně na pozorování transportován do lékařské péče, která vyloučila poranění páteře.
Po závodu se většina závodníků a jejich přátel sešla na afterparty s opékáním buřtů u ohně v unikátních prostorách Muzea létání na Rané, které vlastními prostředky a silami vybudoval Ranská legenda Petr (Koďas) Kodýtek.
Chtěli bychom ještě jednou všem poděkovat za účast a vynikající výkony. Bez Vás a Vaší podpory bychom to nedali.
Letos jsme měli závod na starost jako noví pořadatelé, bez jakýchkoliv předchozích zkušeností s pořádáním závodů. Děkujeme tedy také za toleranci k drobným nedostatkům, které do příště doladíme. Aleš Rajský a Martin Jansa

Hello friends, pilots, hikers!
The 9th edition of the traditional Hike and Fly Raná 2025 race is behind us and it was a great success! A fantastic group of 33 competitors gathered, the atmosphere was cheerful throughout the event, and the weather, despite the forecast, turned out to be able for flying. The Sport category air route was about 30 km, while the Hobby category was just under 20 km. On foot, the distances increased significantly.

Unfortunately, the race did not go without incident. A pilot stalled asymmetrically in a thermal and crashed into trees. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries. The pilot walked away and was later taken for observation to ensure no spinal injuries, which were ultimately ruled out.
After the race, most competitors and their friends gathered for an afterparty with a campfire and sausages in the unique setting of the Raná Aviation Museum, built with incredible dedication by Raná legend Petr "Koďas" Kodýtek.
We’d like to thank everyone once again for their participation and outstanding performance. Without you and your support, this wouldn’t have been possible.
This year we took over the race organization as new organizers, with no prior experience in running such events. So we’d also like to thank you for your patience with minor imperfections — we’ll work on refining them for next time.
