Brand new article from UK FTVS researchers. Looking to decrease your ground contact time during jumping to be faster off the ground? Assisted jumping can provide such a stimulus and may result in long-term adaptations, which can be useful for athletes who sprint and jump. This article explains how this is commonly done in laboratories, and how methods that most coaches use likely result in slightly different stimuli depending on how much assistance you use.
