Кто с нами танцуют уже давно, знают о профессионализме наших педагогов и как мы вкладываемся в развитие учеников. По-этому мы решили объединить все наши знания, профессионализм и опыт чтобы создать первую в Праге ТАНЦЕВАЛЬНУЮ АКАДЕМИЮ, которая поможет вам вне зависимости от стиля понимать свое тело и движения лучше, развиваться быстрее и получить более глубокие знания. Академии для тех, кому мало обычных мастер классов и хочется получить инструменты для дальнейшего танцевального развития ✨

Today let's get to know our Jazz Funk teacher, Anna .a.mish 💥

Here are a few facts about her:

- Favorite food is cheese in any form.
- Went to China at 18, lived and worked there for 2.5 years as a dance teacher
- Came to Prague from the Ukraine after the war began half a year ago
- A web designer by training
- Also teaches High Heels
- Anna has her own small business - clothing brand

MAIN RULES FOR CHOOSING DANCE HEELS ✨

1. Heigh:

We advise you to start with our 8.5cm or 10cm stiletto heels.
Anything between 7 to 11 cm is suitable and works fine, depending on what you are used to walk in. A 10 cm stiletto is the ideal medium heel height. You can start with 7 cm and dance yourself up to 11 cm, or even more if you can - but remember, the higher the heel, the more you need to be able to stretch the wrists of your feet!

2. Ankle fixation:

The tighter the shoes hug your ankles, the better. Straps and adjustable laces here are super useful as they tend to support your ankles a lot more
You could even go for knee-high or over-the-knee type heels if that’s your style.

Make sure your heel is covered, that way especially in floor parts your heel can’t slip out of the shoe.

3. Open toe:

A peep toe gives you the full freedom to really point your feet. Alternatively an open sandal heel can work too. Pointy toes is where it gets tricky.
If you are a trained heels dancer, you are welcome to wear pointed toe shoes, but we don’t necessarily recommend beginners to do so.
 
4. No platform:

Since we need to feel the floor with our toes at all times, it’s smarter to go for a pair without any platform - yes, they might be more comfortable to walk in on the street or during a night out, but if you want to actually take a dance class platform won’t help you.
Platform  → less grip →  less stability and the stability is exactly what we want to achieve. The dangerous risk of your ankle snapping over is very high in a platform heel, so stay away from them!

Recently, in stories we had a Q&A with one of our teachers - Alen.
