West Highland Way. Scotland.
A beautiful journey within as a part of my yoga path. 96 miles in one week of walking to get to know myself out of my comfort zone.
I was at times struggling, surrendering, accepting, letting go. I felt both tired and happy, enjoying moments & appreciating little things that I take for granted in my everyday life. I also felt supported where things were out of my control. I just carried on, step by step. Sometimes thanks to my willpower, often thanks to a support I received. I learnt how much I can rely on my body.
I feel most grateful and blessed for having had this opportunity to walk the WHW, having seen incredible landscapes and having met wonderful people. Strangers who eventually became friends; thanks for sharing that extraordinary adventure, your stories, having opened hearts and walking together for a precious while.
West Highland Way, you changed me. My heart and my mind feel at peace with who I am.
