🇪🇸 Final Whistle in Madrid! ⚽️✨
What an incredible way to wrap up our latest chapter! Last week, the Street Football Erasmus+ family gathered in the heart of Madrid for our final in-person meeting. It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come, but being together in Spain was the perfect reminder of why this project matters so much.
We kicked things off with our hosts, Fundacion Red Deporte, who took us straight into the action to witness local street football sessions. There’s nothing quite like seeing the impact of your work through the eyes of the children on the pitch.
The energy continued as we moved into our presentation sessions. Every partner—from AF Bragança (Portugal) and AEK (Greece) to WMF (Czechia) and our Spanish hosts—stepped up to share the results of their local school activities. We spent hours exchanging real-world experiences, diving deep into the feedback from the kids, and shaping our final recommendations for the future of the sport.
Beyond the formal sessions, these days were about the power of partnership. Whether we were debating strategy in the meeting room or sharing stories over dinner at a local restaurant, the goal remained the same: using football as a bridge for social change.
Madrid gave us the perfect backdrop to celebrate our achievements and plan the next steps. A huge thank you to everyone involved for the hard work, the laughter, and the shared vision. The meeting is over, but the impact of our street football community is just getting started!
