What a weekend for Vinos!

Smashed in Division 1 and 2 and they progressed to the next rounds. Rossos won in their last league match and qualified for the semifinals. Joe Cope rocked with his all-rounder performance and grabbed man of the match award.

In division 2 Biancos won against table toppers and qualified for the finals. Naveen Kumar scored a remarkable 82 runs and helped us to win the match.

All three VCC teams head into their next league matches with winning momentum from the previous round!

🟥 Rossos take on Prague Spartans CC, looking to strengthen their comfortable position in the league table.

🟨 Portos face Brno CC, aiming to climb further up the standings and keep the momentum rolling.

⬜ Biancos play a virtual knockout against Prague Spartans CC, with a place in the semi-finals on the line.

And that's not all!
VCC BBQ will be running alongside the matches, so bring your family and friends for a full day of cricket, food, and fun.

What a weekend for Vinos!!!

Vinos dominated all three divisions last week. Starts with the first division 1, Rossos had a brilliant partnership between Abdul Muiz and joe ࿐ when the middle order collapsed and put a reasonable score on board and defended comfortably with the help of the bowlers.

Biancos opted to bat first and the middle order partnership between Mohammed Nabeel Sarwar and Suresh Ravisankar scored 62 runs in 30 balls. Nabeel scored a brilliant half century and helped Biancos to score 147 in 15 overs. Rain interrupted the match and the match was reduced to 8 overs and the 101 target given to BCC. BCC could not make it within 8 overs and Biancos won by 35 runs.

Portos opted to field first and restricted PBCC to 153 runs. Michael Londesborough single handedly scored 82 off 52 balls including 6 sixes and 6 fours won the match for Portos.
