Gueile Rafael Borromé Sánchez “Raffi” | #23 ⚾️
There are those who find baseball on the way, and there are those who are born with the glove in hand. For Gueile Rafael, better known as “Raffi”, the story began at 3 years old. Since then, the playing field became his second home.
Although he has the versatility and talent to defend any position on the field, it is in the shortstop where his game really shines: fast reflexes, impeccable reading and that defensive solidity that gives peace to the whole team and only does not give security to his entire team with the glove, also with the bat he contributes in each duel against the pitchers, he enjoys each turn as if it were the last, he is a great batter of agility and strength that makes him feared and respected every time he stops at home to take a turn.
But Raffi’s impact goes far beyond what he does on the ground by demonstrating his talent. One of his most exciting hobbies is to train the new generations, transmitting to children not only the technique, but the most important: the beautiful and noble of this sport.
When the stadium lights go out and it’s time to rest, you find Raffi enjoying a good day at the pool or sharing quality time with his family. Your favorite dish to recharge your batteries after a good day of play? “It would be any dish from the menu.”
