What’s your job?
Working as Technical Project Manager on IT at Thales

What do you love the most about running?
It always makes me feel good, I have time for me, to stop and think and just enjoy good music and landscapes. Also, when I go with people and their companion!

Are you working towards a race or goal time at the moment?
Yes!This is the year I will run Madrid Marathon, no doubt about it 😉 It is my first marathon, so I’m training very hard to at least manage to finish it.

Do you have a running dream for the future?
I cannot lie, my first dream is running a marathon and even although I said after this, that is all I will do, I know myself. I’ll start something harder like triathlon or 50k race.

When did you join Old Town Running?
I remember it very good, it was during the pandemic 😷 August of 2020. I was recovering from a really bad injury (broke my heel) and I was very demotivated running alone with the mask…

What’s been your favourite running moment or race?
I have many! Hard to choose one but probably it was when I ran the women’s half marathon in Madrid under a big hailstorm. I was destroyed but suddenly my parents appeared, cheering me and, ‘wow’ my energy levels went up. Also, Vltava Run when I finished the race and all OTR were there with me. That was amazing 🤩

What’s your power song?
Electronic and techno music in general. Any song with a beat that accompanies my running steps.

What’s your ‘go to’ meal after a big race or run?
Pizza 🍕 and Beer 🍺

What are your favourite running trainers and kit?
Asics Gel Nimbus. They are the best for me and help me avoid ankle twisting.I mainly use Decathlon clothes, the quality is great and they have lot of variety.

What do you love the most about Old Town Running?
The people! It is like a big family. I feel they understand me when I’m talking about my many topics. They don’t make me feel alone in my craziness 😜

Who are your heroes or most inspirational people?
My parents! They are great and everything I have 😍

Who are you?
Meet our founding Captain, Ed.



What do you love the most about running?
The outdoors and getting away and having time to think. When it comes to races, I love the energy and the atmosphere of everyone coming together!

Are you working towards a race or goal time at the moment?
I have a marathon scheduled for June 2024 and hopefully Chicago in October of 2024. Right now with life and everything going on, I don’t have any specific goals. Just to go out there and have fun and enjoy myself!

What inspired you to start Old Town Running?
Lindsey and I love running and in 2017, we figured that what better way than to enjoy this sport with other people. We wanted to bring people together. Have a run, have a beer, have a laugh. We had a vision and an idea of what we wanted and we are both very proud of what we have achieved. To see how the club has grown is just incredible. Although we are now both living in USA, OTR will always be our family!

What’s been your favourite running moment or race?
There are so many....I think one which stands out the most to me was the Berlin 25k. I had just organised all the OTR kit and this was the first time that a small group was traveling to a race and we represented OTR in our singlets! It was a beautiful weekend and the race itself is amazing too. A nice distance and an amazing finish in the Olympic Stadium!
London Marathon was epic too and then all the Vltava Runs we have done as team have been beautiful too!

What’s your power song?
Before any race I always have Eye Of The Tiger playing. Cheesy I know, but it gets me pumped!

What’s your ‘go to’ meal after a big race or run?
Easy...burger and beer! Lots of beer!

What are your favourite running trainers and kit?
I am a Nike man and I love Nike merchandise. My favourite trainers are without a doubt my vaporflys! But who doesn’t love a run in a pair of Funky Pants? These are the bomb!

What do you love the most about Old Town Running?
The friendships made! We aren’t a running club but a family. Every Wednesday, seeing everyone socialising and laughing is exactly what we wanted to create! I have made lifelong friends through this club!
