Formula Student Czech presents THE BEER CRATE RACING COMPETITION. 🚀

Grab a beer crate, slap some wheels on it, and prove which team has the best (or worst) engineering skills when it actually doesn’t matter. Whether you’re here to crash, win, or just have a laugh with your team, Yeast Beast is all about good vibes and ridiculous engineering 🤪.

Expect:
• Wild designs & epic wipeouts 🏎️
• Head-to-head beer crate racing 🥇
• The Beauty & The Yeast Award for the craziest build 👑

This side event is voluntary and takes place one evening during the competition week — because real engineering happens after dark 🌙.

👉 Only the team captain can open the quiz
🕒 The quiz opens automatically on January 30 at 15:00 CET for all teams
⏱️ Your timer starts the moment the quiz opens

HOW IT WORKS
🔹 The quiz consists of 10 questions, shown one at a time
🔹 Each question has a time limit
🔹 Once you submit an answer, you can’t go back or change it
🔹 If you answer early, you’ll wait in a waiting room
🔹 Once the time limit for a question runs out, the next question opens automatically. However, you can still continue answering the previous question if needed, but the timer for the new question is already running

SCORING
✅ Correct answer
Only the time you used to answer counts toward your total time

❌ Wrong answer
The time used + a time penalty is added to your total time

Formula Student Czech is looking for scrutineers with a technical background 🔧 and Formula Student experience 🏎️.

This role is suitable if you are:
• Formula Student alumni
• Familiar with FS rules and vehicle concepts
• Experienced in FS scrutineering or technical inspections

What we offer:

Once again, FS Czech is one of the few competitions in Europe offering teams the opportunity to compete in the Driverless category (DV).

The Optional DV Cup is fully optional. Participation has no impact on classic competition points, and teams compete for a separate Driverless award. 🏆

✅ 25 slots available for teams registered at FS Czech 2026
✅ Teams selected based on registration order and current VSV status
✅ Separate participation fee applies
