🌊 Day 1 International Division II Class Association is in the books!

Four races completed in 7–12 knots — perfect conditions, close racing, some penalties, and most importantly, great company on and off the water! 💨🤙

After the first day, the current leaders are:

🥇 A Division: Seppi Salvenmoser 🇦🇹
🥇 C Division: Alain Cadre 🇫🇷

But it’s still all to play for! 🔥

🌊 The final event of Festival of Sails 2026 has begun!

Windy Point is now hosting the Windsurfing International Division II Class Association, with 19 riders from 10 countries ready to compete! 🏄‍♂️

Yesterday’s opening ceremony was also a great chance for everyone to introduce themselves — followed, of course, by the traditional Czech sausages over the fire. 🌭🔥😉

Four races are scheduled for today, and the forecast looks fantastic! 💨☀️

Come down to Windy Point and follow the action live — live commentary will be available throughout the racing! 🎙️

⛵ Festival of Sails continues with the 5th edition of the MiŠ Regatta!

The Czech RS700 Skiff Sailing fleet brought plenty of action to Jenišov, with 17 single-handed skiffs taking on challenging conditions. Strong and shifty winds delivered 5 exciting races and some incredibly close battles at the front of the fleet. 💨🔥

The first part of this year’s Festival of Sails belonged to the young sailors competing at the Int 29er Class European Championship The wind was not exactly on our side, but we still managed to complete 4 races for all 360 sailors from 28 countries around the world. 🌍

A big thank you to all the sailors, coaches, race officials and the entire organising team of Jachetní klub Černá v Pošumaví for a great start to the FOS! 💪

When the World’s Sails Dance on Lipno 🌊⛵️

The Festival of Sails 2025 opened in spectacular style with the Pirate Class EUROSAF European Championship in Černá v Pošumaví, welcoming crews from eight countries. Four days on Lake Lipno brought gentle breezes, dynamic conditions, and plenty of tactical, team and endurance challenges.

The celebration continued with two World Championships – Cadet and RS Tera – bringing young sailors from 18 nations. From challenging winds to perfect racing breezes, Lipno became a vibrant meeting place of competition and friendship.

It was a true celebration of skill, teamwork and the joy of being on the water, in the heart of South Bohemia’s forests. 🌍💙

Cadet World Championship – Final Race & New World Champions! 🌍⛵️

Yesterday, the Cadet fleet sailed their final race of the championship in a light 6-knot breeze. In the evening, it was time to celebrate the new World Champions – with the top three spots going to three different countries: Ukraine, Great Britain, and Australia.
