A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our underwater clean-up at Poseidonia Beach Hotel! 🌊♻️

Your time, effort, and enthusiasm helped make a real difference in keeping our local coastline clean and healthy.

⚓ AMATHUS SHORE DIVE ⚓

Step beneath the surface and discover one of Cyprus’ most fascinating underwater heritage sites.

Located within a protected marine area just east of Limassol, Amathus offers a unique blend of history, marine life and easy diving. Here, the remains of an ancient harbour lie scattered across the seabed, creating an underwater landscape where the past and present meet.

The shallow depth and calm conditions make this site ideal for relaxed exploration, while seagrass meadows and rocky outcrops provide a home for an impressive variety of marine life.

Depending on the season, divers may encounter stingrays, octopus, squid, turtles, schools of juvenile barracuda and even the occasional seahare.

Amathus is proof that you don't need to dive deep to experience something truly special. It's one of Cyprus' most distinctive shore dives and a favourite among photographers, marine life enthusiasts and history lovers alike.

Keep your eyes open for ancient stone blocks, hidden octopus dens and the seasonal stingray gatherings that make this site so memorable.

Suitable for Discover SCUBA as well as Open Water divers and above.

⚓ ZENOBIA WRECK ⚓

Widely regarded as one of the world's greatest wreck dives, Zenobia is the dive site that has put Cyprus on the global diving map.

This 172-metre roll-on/roll-off ferry sank on her maiden voyage in 1980 and now rests on her port side just off the coast of Larnaca. Decades later, the wreck has become an extraordinary underwater playground, attracting divers from around the world.

From massive cargo decks and military trucks to vast pe*******on opportunities and thriving marine life, every dive on Zenobia offers something new to discover. Whether you're exploring the upper decks or venturing deeper into the wreck, the sheer scale of Zenobia is unlike anything else in the Mediterranean.

Keep an eye out for amberjack, barracuda, grouper, turtles, lionfish and huge schools of fish that now call the wreck home.

Suitable for Advanced Open Water divers and above, with dive profiles ranging from 16m to 42m.

🎭 BED ROCK & THE CARNIVAL MASKS 🎭

One of the most unique dive sites in the Limassol Marine Park, Bed Rock combines artificial reefs, marine life, and underwater art into an unforgettable dive experience.

The site features rock pyramids and habitat structures designed to encourage marine biodiversity, creating an underwater ecosystem that continues to grow each year.

In 2022, two giant carnival mask sculptures were added as part of an eco-art initiative celebrating Limassol’s famous carnival tradition. Standing over 3 metres tall and weighing approximately 12 tonnes each, they have quickly become iconic underwater landmarks and a favourite subject for underwater photographers.

Keep an eye out for barracuda, amberjack, cuttlefish, wrasse and large schools of reef fish as you explore one of Cyprus' most distinctive artificial reefs.

A fantastic alternative to traditional wreck diving and perfect for divers looking to experience something truly different underwater.

⚓ THE BARGE ⚓

One of the hidden gems of the Limassol Marine Park, The Barge offers a relaxed introduction to wreck diving combined with an impressive amount of marine life.

Resting in just 12m of water, this decommissioned flat-bottom vessel has evolved into a thriving artificial reef surrounded by seagrass and marine growth. The site is also home to a PPB playground, making it an excellent dive for buoyancy practice and skill development.

Keep an eye out for lionfish, nudibranchs, sea hares, moray eels, schools of fish and many other creatures that now call the reef home.

Its shallow depth and calm conditions make The Barge a fantastic choice for newer certified divers, and even suitable for Discover Scuba Divers on their second dive.
