ENAD Polis Chrysochous - Walking Football Club.
The Enad panthers would like to extend a big thank you to Pafos United Walking Football for there warm hospitality & arranging our 4 game round robin matches today & a big thank you to Mark for unbiased refereeing.
Before I give a breakdown of the games played as manager I want to thank the six players who turned up today for a truly magnificent performance by you all. But a massive shout out must go to our coach Dave Jennings as his persistent coaching has got us to where we are today, as manager I can see how Dave has developed us individually & as a team so a massive shout out goes to Dave…. 👏👏👏
So our staring six players were

Alan Michael Poulter Left back
Dave Jennings. Midfield
Mario Trinci. Midfield ( Man of the Match )
Petros Petrou. Striker
Game 1 A close game to start with but We started to control the game and so lovely through balls & some good finishing gave us a 3-0 victory

Game 2 was a very tight match with not many goal scoring chances and the match ended with a fair result. 0-0
Game 3. Once again was a tight match to start but we finally started to play some good passes and this ended up with two beautiful worked goals and Dave Jennings netting both.
Match 4 was also a tight game & we were feeling the heat & also started to tire as we had no subs to relieve tired players, so on this front it was a great effort from the team & the deadline was broken from a through pass by Mario Trinci with superb goal by Dave Jennings . Pafos Utd earned the point in the final few minutes and the match ended as a 1-1 draw.
A final word from myself as manager only to say how proud I was today to see how well we played as a team, in difficult conditions due to the temperature but we worked as a unit, we still have a long way to go but with our coach helping us as individuals & as a team the Enad Panthers have a bright future in walking football, well done to all our players 👏👏👏👏👏
