Congratulations to the Cyprus Men’s Triples, who have finished second in their group and secured a place in Today’s semi-final! 👏

Monday’s Cyprus results:

🔹 Women’s Singles lost 21–4 to Guernsey
🔹 Women’s Fours beat the Czech Republic 12–10
🔹 Women’s Fours lost 23–4 to Ireland
🔹 Men’s Pairs narrowly lost 12–9 to the Isle of Man
🔹 Men’s Triples lost 19–8 to Wales but still qualified for the semi-finals after three excellent group victories

Tuesday’s matches — Cyprus time:

🇨🇾 CYPRUS AT THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS – DAY 2

Another encouraging day in Wales, with Cyprus winning four of Sunday’s seven matches!

🌟 Men’s Triples: Beat Jersey 20–11 and remain unbeaten after three matches. Cyprus are second in Group C, level with leaders Wales on nine points.

🌟 Women’s Singles: A fine 19–10 victory over Spain after an earlier defeat by Jersey.

🌟 Women’s Fours: Bounced back from a narrow 12–9 loss to the Isle of Man to beat Jersey 13–11.

🌟 Men’s Pairs: Finished the day strongly with a 14–12 win over Guernsey, following an earlier defeat by Spain.

🇨🇾 A STRONG START FOR CYPRUS IN WALES! 🇨🇾

The 2026 European Bowls Championships are underway at Llandrindod Wells, and Cyprus enjoyed an encouraging opening day—led by two excellent victories in the men’s triples.

🎯 SATURDAY’S RESULTS

Men’s Triples
✅ Beat Netherlands 13–9
✅ Beat Sweden 15–13
Cyprus are second in Group C, level with Wales on six points.

Women’s Fours
✅ Beat Netherlands 24–5
After receiving a first-round bye, Cyprus produced the team’s biggest victory of the day and are second in Group A with an impressive +19 shot difference.

Women’s Singles
✅ Beat Portugal 18–14
❌ Lost 8–17 to the Czech Republic
Cyprus have three points in a very close Group A.

Men’s Pairs
❌ Lost 2–33 to Türkiye
❌ Lost 6–17 to Netherlands
A difficult opening day, but there are more opportunities to come.

🌟 PERFORMANCE OF THE DAY

The men’s triples made a perfect start with two wins from two, while the women’s four impressed with their convincing 24–5 victory.
