Monday 23 February 2026. Please arrive early in the morning, before noon = 05:59-10:59 so we have plenty of daylight = In the mountains, once the sun disappears behind the peaks, the cold sets in.

We will plant up to 2,000 fava beans and peas [they enrich soil with nitrogen] 🌱.
>
I’ll show you how to prune and apply wound dressing cream.
>
I’ll show you how to spread organic manure/ fertilizer.
>
We will spread the large nylon bags with mulching, under the tree canopies 🌿.
>
We will collect apples from the ground so the medfly pupae inside them do not emerge as adult flies 🍎🐝.
>
We will collect thousands of branches from the ground, leftovers from the pruning. Hope you know how to drive a wheelbarrow! 😄

We’ll also be turning and mixing 2–3 compost piles, and you’re welcome to take as much compost as you want
>
I’ll have on the Green Monday “dining” table eggs, halloumi, cucumbers, tomatoes, tahini, olives, cheap real village wine :) etc. Bring some food to share 🍽️.

We are at 1100meters. Please bring a raincoat, long trousers, good boots or hiking shoes, scarf, and wool hat.
