THIS is how you make the most of having an e-bike in Cyprus.

This lovely couple rented our e-bikes for a few days and made good use of them — exploring, riding and simply enjoying Cyprus on two wheels.

One of their adventures took them from **Peyia, through Kathikas and Drouseia, all the way to Latchi.**

And we loved getting their photos along the way. 📸

There’s also a little twist…

He normally rides a **Ducati**. 😎
So two wheels are definitely nothing new to him — just usually with a little more noise. 😉

This time they chose e-bikes, took their time and discovered a different side of Cyprus together.

**Peyia → Kathikas → Drouseia → Latchi** was just one of their adventures.

**Paphos Castle was once…..................... a salt warehouse?! What’s the story here? 🧂🏰**

Most of us walk past it along the harbour without a second thought — it's the classic backdrop for a sunset photo or a weekend coffee. But long before it became an iconic landmark, it served as a British prison, and at one point, the entire stone fortress was used strictly to store mounds of salt.

Why salt, of all things, and how did a coastal fortress end up with such a bizarre past?

We dug into the castle’s unusual history, uncovered a few harbour secrets, and put together the best scenic route to get there without the usual Kato Paphos parking
