Session 3 of Beyond the Driving Range took us into the Match Play! ⛳

After a short introduction to the rules, we headed straight onto the course — because some things simply make much more sense when you experience them in a real game.

Different situations, questions as they happen, decisions on the course and immediate guidance from Elea Golf Club PRO, Nastja Banovec.

That is exactly what Beyond the Driving Range is about: not just learning how to hit the ball, but learning how to actually play golf with more confidence.

Session 3 of Beyond the Driving Range was all about Match Play. ⛳
We started with the rules, then took them straight onto the course — 9 holes of guided play, real situations and real-time support from our PRO, Nastja Banovec.

That’s exactly what this series is about: learning through playing, asking questions as they come up and building confidence where it really matters — on the course.

What do beginners really gain from Beyond the Driving Range?
It’s not only about learning how to play. It’s about feeling comfortable in a group, understanding the competitive environment and having a safe space to ask the questions you might normally keep to yourself.

With professional guidance, participants can build confidence, improve their course awareness and grow without feeling judged or uncomfortable.

Two sessions completed - and our beginners are becoming more confident with every round!

This Thursday, 6th of August, Beyond the Driving Range continues with Session 3, featuring a friendly introduction to Match Play.

It is a fun and simple format: instead of counting every stroke for the full round, players compete hole by hole. A great way to experience a little friendly competition without the pressure of a traditional tournament.

⛳ Missed our first Beyond the Driving Range session? You haven't missed the series!

One of the most important things to know about Beyond the Driving Range is that you can join at any session.

Each session has its own 30-minute introduction, a new focus for the day and 9 holes of guided on-course play with PGA Professional Nastja Banovec.

So you don't need to have attended Session 1 to join us tomorrow.

If you've completed your beginner lessons but still don't feel quite ready to head onto the golf course on your own, this is exactly what Beyond the Driving Range was created for - a relaxed, supportive way to gain real on-course experience and build confidence step by step.

⛳ Yesterday we welcomed our very first Beyond the Driving Range group at Elea Golf Club.
Six beginner golfers took their next step beyond the driving range and onto the golf course.
Together with PGA Professional Nastja Banovec, they learned how to approach real on-course situations, make better decisions, and most importantly—play with greater confidence.
The smiles at the end of the round said it all. 😊
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made our very first session such a success. We can't wait to see you again next week!
