We had the pleasure of playing at Elea Golf Club yesterday, and the course is currently in absolutely outstanding condition.

Having hosted the EGA Senior Amateur Championship just last week, Elea is looking every bit as good as you would expect from a venue prepared for top-level competition. The fairways are immaculate, the bunkers are beautifully presented, and the greens are rolling beautifully.

If you've ever wanted to experience tournament-level course conditions, now is the perfect time to visit.

The timing couldn't be better, as this weekend the club will once again welcome competitive golf with the CGF Championship 2026.

Why Golf Is More Than a Sport

Look closely at any golf course and you'll see something interesting.
People are not only chasing a score.
They are sharing stories.
Building friendships.
Learning patience.
Celebrating good shots and laughing at bad ones.
Golf is one of the few sports where competition and companionship can exist side by side.
It teaches patience when things are not going your way.
It teaches honesty, because no referee is watching every shot.

The Golden Hour Open 🌅⛳

Yesterday, we hosted the very first Golden Hour Open at Elea Golf Club — and it turned out to be quite different from a typical tournament day.

The field was small, but that became part of the event’s charm. There was more time to talk, more time to enjoy the course, and more opportunities to share the experience with fellow golfers.

The tournament featured several handicap divisions as well as a team competition, keeping things interesting throughout the round. But in many ways, the real success of the day was not about scores or prizes. It was about enjoying golf in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The afternoon start gave players a chance to escape the heat of the day and experience Elea at one of its most beautiful times. As the sun began to set, everyone gathered for cocktails, conversations, and a well-deserved celebration after the round.

Sometimes the most memorable tournaments are not the biggest ones.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create the special atmosphere that made the first Golden Hour Open such an enjoyable event.

Some of the best moments in golf happen before the round even starts.

The course is still quiet.
Freshly cut grass.
Long shadows on the fairway.
Coffee before the first tee shot.

For a little while, everything feels calm and slow — before the competition begins.

No scorecards yet.
No bad holes.
No pressure.

Just a beautiful morning on the golf course.

And honestly, this feeling is one of the reasons people keep coming back to golf.
