Approach Racket Club Approach Racket Club is located inside Gramamr school in Nicosia. It has 2 tennis & 2 padel courts available via playtomic.

Μία καινούρια ακαδημία τέννις στην καρδιά της Λευκωσίας στο χώρο του Junior School στους Αγίους Ομολογητές. Ο χώρος διαθέτει 4 γήπεδα τένις και βρίσκεται σε ένα ειδυλλιακό περιβάλλον μέσα στο πράσινο.

Πρόκειται για μια προσπάθεια από ένα εκ των κορυφαίων Κύπριων προπονητών τέννις, του Δημήτρη Ηροδότου και ενός εκ των κορυφαίων Κυπρίων αντισφαιριστών όλων των εποχών του Δημήτρη Λεοντή.

Ο Δημήτρης Ηροδότου διατηρεί ακαδημία τέννις στη Λάρνακα, στην οποία προπονούνται περί των 150 παιδιών όλων των ηλικιών, μεταξύ των οποίων οι πλείστοι παίκτες της Εθνικής Κύπρου.

Ο Δημήτρης Λεοντής υπήρξε πρωταθλητής τέννις σε όλες τις κατηγορίες, κατέχει το ρεκόρ με τις περισσότερες συμμετοχές στην Εθνική Ομάδα Ανδρών του Davis Cup για την Κύπρο και είναι ο τέως Αντιπρόεδρος του ΚΟΑ.

Η ακαδημία δέχεται παιδιά ηλικίας 6-12 ετών που θέλουν να γνωρίσουν το τένις, κυρίως μαθητές του Junior School, αλλά παράλληλα θα προπονεί νεαρούς πρωταθλητές 12-23 ετών που θέλουν να ανεβάσουν το επίπεδο τους σε επαγγελματικά επίπεδα.

We wish our boys & girls junior national teams who represent Cyprus these days in various competitions all the best and hope to honor our country.

Our Academy junior champions, Yiannis and Andreas Leontis are part of the boys’ teams.

Yiannis this week is representing our country at the European Junior Championships U14 at Most in Czech Republic, and next week he will be part of the Cyprus team that will participate at the U16 Summer Cups in Rhodes, Greece.

Andreas is part of the U12 national team that will play at the Summer Cups in Dijon, France. Team captain of the Cyprus team is our Academy’s head coach Aris Pissdakis.

We are moving and upgrading to higher level facilities.

Approach Racket Club is moving to the premises of the Grammar School in Nicosia.
The facility includes 3 tennis courts and 2 padel courts.
