Kibris Sailing

Kibris Sailing Watersports Centre We are Derek and Jane Matter. We met (as teenagers) in 1975 at our local sailing club in Eastbourne. Bring the whole family for a fun day out!

Since then we have sailed a variety of dinghies and catamarans. Derek is a 3 times winner of the Hobie 16 National Championships and has competed in National, European and World Championships. Derek also holds the RYA Yachtmaster qualification. We have been instrumental in setting up youth squads teaching children to sail and race, both at local and national level. At Kibris Sailing we have Stand

Up Paddleboards, Hobie Kayaks, Windsurfers, Pico and Xenon Dinghies, and of course our beloved Hobie 16. Come along to experience the thrill of twin wiring on the Hobie 16 or join our Stand Up Paddleboard fitness classes. We have something for everyone, all ages welcome. We run courses to teach adults to sail and also a training school for young people. How about letting us organise your children's birthday parties!
