For those who are having withdrawal symptoms from not having dived the Wreck of Zenobia in awhile, thought I'd share some photos of my recent dive there. :-)

For those who are having withdrawal symptoms of not having dived the Zenobia for a while. Thought I'd share a few photos to remind you what it looks like. :-)

This was a dive I did a few weeks ago, visibility was good, the water temperature was 23c even at depth. Unlike my dive here a few weeks before this, it was lovely and quiet too, almost had the wreck to ourselves. :-)

The last video of Kelly and Chantelle's Discover Scuba Diving experience with these majestic Loggerhead turtles. I certainly enjoyed the experience. Never tire of watching them, and with such good visibility and warm sea (temp 29c) what a perfect way to spend time on your holiday on a hot summer's day.

This time 2 Loggerhead turtles, one male and one female. We think this behaviour is fighting over territory. As this site is a great food source for them due to the local fishermen throwing their bycatch here after they return from fishing. I have never witnessed this before until this year (and so have many other people). I think this is possibly due to the fact this year there are 4 Loggerhead turtles. In the past I have only every known 2 (or at least I believe I've only ever seen 2 different ones here). So obviously there is more competition for the food. Enjoying the action is Chantelle Adams.

Another short video of Kelly Mitchell on her Discover Scuba Diving dive with the female Loggerhead turtle just chilling in mid water. This year in particular they seem just so relaxed and unbothered by people.

Discover Scuba Diving dive at St George Harbour on Thursday 12 August 2021 with Kelly Mitchell and Chantelle Adams. How lucky were these ladies to have this wonderful experience with this female Loggerhead turtle. 😀.

This is one of my favourite videos of the day, it's a long one, 4 mins I think. This video just shows you how chilled and unbothered by humans (as long as you stay still and quiet) these Loggerhead turtles are. I just love watching them, they intrigue me, how graceful they are in the water, yet they are heavy and big. So lucky to have these on our doorstep. I feel privileged every time I see them.

First time this year I've posted any turtles... so here's a lovely video of a Loggerhead turtle seen while snorkelling at St George Harbour. I actually had the pleasure of spending quality time with 3 Loggerhead turtles, and I would say to date this was my best experience with them. They came so close, 2 even touched the lens of my camera. Such a memorable experience, and the visibility was superb, the water temp was like a bath, 28c.

Hopefully, there will be more wonderful encounters with these majestic turtles over the next couple of months.

Our first dive of 2021 was back to St George Island, as once again the sea conditions were perfect. As we enjoyed our first dive to St George Island we decided to return for more exploration. Sea temp was about 19c, air temp around 20-21c, visibility 20m+
