2 x ‘American Doubles’ Fun Tournaments
Atromitos Badminton Club will host a pair of ‘American Doubles’ Fun Tournaments on Thursday 22 January and Thursday 29 January 2015 at 7.00pm sharp. (Hall open at 6.45pm)
RULES
• 22 January is ‘RESTRICTED’ – our stronger players are excluded.
• 29 January is ‘OPEN’ - we expect all our stronger players plus guests.
• There will be as many rounds as we can fit into the time.
• Players must be available for the entire duration of the event.
• The minimum age is 15 years.
• Partners and opponents for each round will be drawn ‘out of the hat’.
• In the event of odd numbers, those sitting out of a round will also be drawn from the hat.
• All matches will be 1 game to 21 with no setting.
• Points scored by your side in each game count towards your personal tally and the player with most points at the end will be declared the winner.
• Players should arrive at 6.45 pm to enable us to start at 7.00pm sharp.
• No entry fee - no prizes however we ask for 2 Euros per player to cover the cost of shuttles.
• The majority of members should take part in both events.
