There will be a longer post about impressions from Armenia when I return to Serbia.

For now, I would just like to thank from the bottom of my heart Narek EK6ONL and his friends who made this trip one of the best ever, feel like I'm at home, and even more than that.

We successfully did ATNO POTA activation as EK0W, and we were also QRV from Yerevan radio club EK8A.

On this trip, Antreas 5B4AQA joined me. The journey for me doesn't end here, more precisely, today Antreas and I have a flight to Cyprus, and I will spend the next 5 days there. During that time, we plan to be QRV from different parks every day, maybe even tonight 🇨🇾

My friends and l successfully activated ATNO POTA reference today. I will tell you more about that when I return from the trip. For now I want to take a break from social media and enjoy in present.

Also, I want to inform you that tomorrow, on Sunday, I will be QRV as EK8A, working from the radio club in Yerevan together with other operators. I hope to hear you on the air!

I'm pleased to inform you that in a few days I will be traveling to Armenia where I will activate POTA references together with my friends.

The team will be active on Saturday, April 4, 2026, operating from Armenia for a Parks on the Air (POTA) activation, with a focus on providing an ATNO (All-Time New One) opportunity for many operators.

We will be QRV on the air under the callsign EKØW, working on HF bands.

The team consists of the following operators:

EK6ONL
EK6RF
EK6OTK

Here's how my week started, a nice surprise :)

Although many know me as an passionate POTA activator, I actually adoreble contests. Due to the pace of life, I really regret that I don't have more time to participate in them more often, but I really hope that in the future I will change that and come back to it!

Today I activated my 88th park, and this was my 195th POTA activation 🍀

The thought of all those hours spent in nature makes me very happy, also, of all the challenges I had during the activations, finding and searching my way in different places where I had never been before.

It's time to spread POTA beyond borders. I want to announce: in three weeks, you will have the opportunity to hear me how I work from parks in Armenia 🇦🇲 and Cyprus 🇨🇾
The trip that I organized will last 10 days, and in each country I will be with my friends, and we will activate the parks together.

I rarely do this — I don’t usually go back and write about the past. But 2025 was so incredible for me that I want to leave a trace of it.

Maybe I wasn’t as active on social media as before, but I was more present in real life than ever — fully aware of each moment and the passage of time.

This year was a year of growth, self-awareness, learning, and deeply instructive life lessons. A year of stepping out of my comfort zone in absolutely every sense.

I’m grateful that I spent nearly a quarter of the year traveling, visiting 19 countries in total.

And what I cherish the most is that this year brought me so many amazing friendships, for which I will be forever thankful.

Thank you as well to all of you who are still here with me — thank you for every QSO during contests and every POTA activation.

I have many plans for the coming year, but step by step, while enjoying every moment and the entire process.

Happy New Year 2026 to everyone, from the bottom of my heart. I sincerely wish you good health — because with that, you can achieve everything else on your own. Stay open to new experiences in life!
