During the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy, Davor Joziฤ‡ carved out a unique place in Yugoslav football history.

On June 18, 1974, at the FIFA World Cup in West Germany, Yugoslavia produced one of the most dominant performances ever seen on football's biggest stage. Facing Zaire in their second group match, the Plavi delivered a stunning 9-0 victory โ€” a result that remains one of the largest winning margins in World Cup history.
