Last week, Bulgaria proudly hosted the UEC MTB European Downhill Championship in the spectacular Vitosha Mountain.

Congratulations to the Bulgarian Cycling Federation for successfully organizing such a major European event and showcasing Vitosha and Bulgaria as an outstanding destination for mountain biking and Downhill competitions.

Events like this highlight the Balkans’ growing potential to host top-level cycling events, bringing athletes, teams and fans together and creating unforgettable experiences both on and off the bike.

Last week, Romania made history by hosting the UEC MTB Youth European Championship in Cheile Grădiștei for the very first time.

Congratulations to the Romanian Cycling Federation (Federatia Romana de Ciclism) for successfully organizing such a major event, bringing together 540 young riders from 32 countries.
