During the past weekend, we had the opportunity to present the idea of ​​our project through the club tournament of one of the project participants.

Over 40 members of the club as well as coaches gathered in the hall of the table tennis academy Kocic in Belgrade.

In addition to the presentation of the project itself, a table tennis tournament was played, as well as a tournament in the games that were previously shown to them.

On February 12th, we had another successful meeting.

We have set our goals for February and we discussed about some tournaments in February and March, where will we promote our project and idea!

Two and a half months until the end of the project and still working hard!

On Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Antonis Tritsis indoor gym, the first sports event of the year in our island’s table tennis scene was successfully completed. Enthusiasts of the sport, both young and old, participated with enthusiasm and joy as part of the Erasmus+ Sport program and the Spin Act initiative, crossing their paddles and enjoying a wonderful three-hour event. The excellent equipment of our club and the good weather played a significant role in the event’s success.

A standout aspect of the event was the large participation of athletes who traveled from the beautiful island of Ithaca. A key contributor to this pleasant surprise was our treasurer, Gerasimos Molfesis, who, as a resident of Ithaca, actively supports the development of table tennis on Odysseus’ island.

Our club, ASEA KEFALONIA & ITHACA, has planned several sporting activities for 2025 on both islands, aiming to promote healthy sports engagement for all ages. The event was attended by members of our administration, who participated either as players or by presenting awards and handing out beautiful commemorative wooden medals to the winners.

Another useful and constructive online meeting as part of the SPIN ACT Erasmus project.

We shared thoughts, ideas, and ways of working for the coming months.

We discussed upcoming activities and tasks, as well as their implementation.

We are entering the final four months, and great challenges lie ahead.

It was a nice and productive week as part of our project. We worked on filming instructional videos and demonstrating exercises.

Together with members from both clubs that cooperate in project in the hall of Table Tennis Academy Kocic, we enjoyed some practices and friendly matches, as well as finishing our deliverables for project!

After a successful community event in Belgrade, Serbia this June, the Spin-ACT project team gathered to mark the halfway point of our initiative.

We reviewed our achievements, discussed challenges, and planned our next steps. The team will focus on completing the project's interim report. Following that, we'll enter the main implementation phase with the ambitious goal of reaching thousands of children and teenagers through table tennis in Greece and Serbia!
