We moved to Mendoza, Argentina. We are Mendoza United FC.

Playing inside a professional Argentine club is an excellent achievement for our American youth. They will attempt to develop and advance to the Premier Division first team. Our player's goal is to transfer to Europe after gaining experience in Argentina.

US Soccer Academy, LLC has opened another location in Mendoza, Argentina. Mendoza United FC develops players for Belgrade United FC to showcase to European professional clubs. This Friday, Mendoza United is conducting tryouts for local players to join the American program. Nine American players signed professional contracts in Europe. sevon players signed last month and two others in August 2021.

The U.S. Soccer Academy, LLC - Belgrade United F.C. - Former Players;

Johan Gerardo (18) from Germantown, Maryland, and Brandon Dixon (18) from Lancing, Michigan, are former players of Belgrade United F.C., are now with F.K. Metalac in the Super League in Serbia. The two have played in three preseason games against F.K. Takova, F.K. Radniki, and F.K. Partizan. Gerardo is a central midfielder, and Dixon is a striker.

Both American players have contributed with their excellent technical ability, quality passing, and physical play. Dixon and Gerardo have assisted goals for their team verse F.K. Radniki and playing an average of 70-minutes in the games.

Mendoza United FC, Argentina was founded in February 2022. Mendoza operates with Belgrade United FC in Serbia. We are preparing our American, Argentine, Jamaican and Trinidadian players for the European transfer window, June 1 - August 31. U.S. Soccer Academy LLC is the parent company in Florida. Nine (9) Americans from our program have signed European professional contracts earlier this month.

FOUR ADDITIONAL AMERICANS SIGN EUROPEAN PRO CONTRACTS

EIGHT BELGRADE UNITED PLAYERS SIGN WITH PROFESSIONAL CLUBS

Belgrade United FC signed Four (4) Americans to FK Centinje from the Montenegrin 2nd Division.
FK Cetinje plays their home games at Stadion Sveti Petar Cetinjski. They are sharing the stadium with local rival FK Lovcen. The stadium has a capacity of 5,192 seats.

Belgrade United FC players are signing their first European pro contract. They will be members of FK Cetinjski to gain professional development until June 2022, and then they will advance to a higher level pro team. BUFC’s objective is to guide American players through European professional development until our athletes reach their highest level of pro football.

Belgrade United FC advanced their first two American players to the Serbian Super League club, FC Metalac for this winter transfer window, January - February 21. The Serbian Super League is the top professional level in the country. Brazil, Argentina and Serbia have the most players under pro contracts in the European Union. Our objective is to develop Americans with smaller professional clubs before advancing them to Western European clubs.

Johan Gerardo (18) from Germantown, Maryland and Zach Pack Mair (17) from Atlanta, Georgia begin a 5-day tryout with the Serbian Super League club, FK Vozdozac, under 19 academy. Zach Mair began his journey with Belgrade United over one year ago and has grown tremendously since his start. We are extremely proud of his passion and growth. It is amazing that Johan has been in our system for only 2-weeks and he has earned his first tryout. It is a credit to Barca Maryland FC.

FK Vozdozac are one of the few clubs in the world who have a modern stadium on top of a shopping centre, the stadium was built in 2012 and opened in August 2013.

The club is nicknamed "The Dragons", they experienced little success in the Yugoslavian era, but have become one of Belgrade's best and most stable clubs in modern times since Serbia's independence.

The name Voždovac is derived from the word vožd meaning leader (literally, a "duke", "supreme vojvoda"), one of the titles used by Karađorđe, the leader of the First Serbian Uprising.

Second Belgrade United Player to Sign European Pro Contract.

MC Lopez (25) Center Midfielder from Dallas, Texas (original member of our former Marbella United FC in Spain) signed today with OFK Titograd in Montenegro’s second division.

MC Lopez today has signed his first professional contract. Lopez is a quality and mature player on the field. Our objective with Lopez is to sell him to a bigger club in Europe after he establishes a good reputation.

We will be announcing more player signings in Serbia, Sweden and Portugal. The deadline for the player transfer window is August 31.

First American Player Signs European Contract for the 2020-21 Season

Belgrade United FC’s Ethan Sogocio (19), a striker from Miami Beach, Fl, signs his first professional contract with FK Mladost Donja Gorica in Montenegro.

Sogocio’s (first year player in program) signing is an essential step towards his development and career. Our objective with all of our players is to guide them through their first three contracts. The third contract our players will achieve established careers.

The first contract allows important development playing with and competing against European players. It also allows our American players to be on the transfermarkt.com website. Without having a presence on transfermarkt website it is impossible build a professional career in Europe.

Ethan will continue to have great support from Belgrade United and our agents as he he continues his journey. His young age and potential is on his side for great success. We are all proud of his passion, commitment, mentality, drive and ability that are the key factors to his success.

More player signings to be announced soon in Montenegro, Sweden and Portugal.
